Tanya Burr Hollywood Eye Palette Review

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write about Tanya Burr's Hollywood Eye Palette. I love this palette. You may have seen i purchased this on mu Solihull shopping trip.

This has four very wearable brown shades; “nude delight” a sheer, light base colour and “gold coin” which is a pale gold shimmer. Then there’s “bookworm” which is a warm, red-toned brown which is slightly less shimmery so great for the crease and “enchantment” which is an antique gold glitter. As you can tell i use nude delight a lot as i have already hit pan. A sometimes use it to set my concealer as its a yellowy colour so it helps cover up under eye circles.

The palette creates a nice golden smokey eye. I would recommend this to anyone.

Hope you like this post.

The £20 Makeup Tag

Hi chappes,

I wanted to do the £20 makeup challenge, i love watching and reading £20 makeup challenges so i decided i wanted to do it to.

All of these product i purchased from Superdrug or fromm my original makeup collection.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation - £5.99
Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Liquid Concealer - £2.99
MUA Trio Eyeshadow- Innocence - £2.50
Collection Lengthening Mascara-£3.99
Miss Sporty Pump it eyeliner- £2.79
MUA Lipstick Bare- £1

Total: £19.26

Its actually harder than you think- I wish i had enough money to buy a brow product. As i looked a bit browless :) I would recommend most of the products. The lipstick was nice but very drying on the lips. The shadows were great for the price, they do crease slightly but easily to blend out.
But overall i liked the look.

Hope you like this post.

I tag anyone who wants to do it.

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara Review

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write a review one of my everyday brow products -Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara.

I love this product - its great for a natural brow look. You can brush your brow though in the morning and it stays all day. For a stronger brow look you can brush backwards to get product then brush though. This creates a more bolder eyebrow.

This product is only £4.99 - which is UH-MAZ-ING!!

The brush at first look, looks weird but its so good for applying product.

Please comment if you like this product and please follow.

Thank you for all your support

Hi chappes,

I wanted to do the beauty blogger tag, i saw it on Chloe's Way blog a while ago. So i wanted to do it.

I have been writing this blog for 2 months. I started this blog because i had the confidence to write one and i wanted to write this blog for a hobby.

Whose blog did you fall in love with first?
Probably Tanya Burr's blog. She was on of the reasons why i started this blog.

What was the first blogosphere hyped about product that you bought? Was it worth the hype?

Not much, i guess i haven't been writing this blog long enough to know. Please comment if you would like me to write an updated post in a years time.

Have you changed anything since becoming a Beauty Blogger?
In these 2 months i have learnt quite a few things for example how to write a blog.

First Impressions: Rimmel Fix and Protect Primer

Hi chappes,

Today i wanted to write a slightly different post- a first impression.
I recently brought the New Rimmel Fix and Protect Primer, and i tried it for the first time yesterday. SO i wanted to share my how it went.

I applied it 9:45 in the morning on top of my moisturiser. It went on really nicely and left your skin feel really soft and smooth. And my foundation seemed to have gone on nicer and evenly.
Throughout the day it kept my foundation on apart from my chin which  normally does come off.
When i took my makeup over all of it came off easily.
I would recommend this primer, it feels nice on the skin and it only costs £6.99.

Boot describes this as:
'A Multi-Protective Shield that helps protect the skin against daily stresses including Pollution & Damaging UV Rays, with its own built in complexion beautifier and SPF 25.
Prime, Protect & Prevent with this skin perfecting multi-protective UV shield primer.
That instantly perfects skin by optically blurring imperfections and visibly improves the complexion & skin’s texture overtime.'

I haven't tried it for long enough to see if they have all these qualities.

Hope you like this post- please tell me if you would like me to do another one.

Collab Dry Shampoo Review

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write a post about the Collab dry shampoo range.

The Brand Manifesto is 'COLAB has been developed by a dynamic collective of beauty experts who combine the best of their backstage knowledge. The result is inspiring breakthrough formulas that fuse the art of hairdressing with the science of formulation.'

I love the range especially the London scent, she has 6 scenes in total: London, Tokyo, Paris, New York, Rio and Monaco.
In 3 different ranges: Sheer and invisible, extra volume and a limited edition luxe shine.

A model recommends, Ruth Crilly, has done an amazing job with all these dry shampoos. I can't wait to see what coming out next.

Hope you like this post.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara Review

Hi chappes,

It's Saturday! Today i wanted to write a review on Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara. I received a mini of it in a Christams set. And its UH-MAZ-ING.

The mini packaging is real sweet and fit perfect into any makeup bag as well as your handbag.

The mascara itself is ready good, the brush is curved so gets all of the lash. It adds volume and length. So great for both day time looks and evening looks.

This is how Boots describes the mascara 'The formula, deep and intensely black, glides sumptuously along each lash, to immediately coat and amplify lash look from root to tip. In perfect harmony with the texture, the new curvaceous brush allows full contact with lashes for instant full body volume.
Exponential looking volume in a single stroke. You won?t believe your eyes.
The new curvaceous oversize brush amplifies volume in an instant. The full contact with the lash surface ensures perfect lash coating from root to tip, coating even the shortest lashes.
Deep black pigments.'

I would highly recommend this mascara to anyone- its slightly expensive as the normal size is £23.50. But i think its worth it. I was so upset what my mini ran out :).

Hope you enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

Evening Routine Spring 2016

Hi chappes,

It's Friday!! Today i wanted to my evening routine, i have done a morning routine so i thought it was time to write an evening one.

Usually i finish revision and homework at 9:30pm and i tend to do a 30-45 minute exercise routine. Normally its 10km cycle on the bike then an ab workout.

I change from my sport clothes into pyjamas, at the moment its onesies. I love onesies, they are warm and comfy.
This is one of my collection- its from new look. Its red with snowflakes. Yes it christmasy but its comfy :)

Then  i take off my makeup and do my skincare routine. Most of my products are the same from my skincare routine post. To add to that post i have been loving the benefit eye potent eye cream.

I then do my teeth and wash my face with a damp towel to make sure all my makeup is off. Then i lay in bed for a while watching youtube videos or episode in demand.

Finally my 'beauty' sleep at 11pm.

Hope you like this post and thank you for your support.

The Glam Guide Review

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write a blog post on Fleur De Force's book "The Glam Guide". My friend recently let me borrow the book as i can't find it anywhere. I have loved watching Fleur's videos, I've been watching her for over 3 years. And see targets to older people but i still like her videos.

I love this book- its quite similar to Tanya Burr's book, but i love them both. She writes about beauty and fashion, health and fitness, confidence and much more.

The book is colourful, lovely drawing and pictures. And simple steps for every thing. For makeup looks to hair looks.

'Fleur De Force started making YouTube videos in 2009 out of a passion for everything beauty and fashion related. What began as a fun hobby quickly turned into something much bigger, and she's spent the past five years seeking out the best products, top tips and easiest ways for us all to look and feel more fabulous. In The Glam Guide she shares all of her secrets and discoveries so whether you're looking for makeup tips, wardrobe cheats, first-date pointers or healthy lifestyle motivation, this is the book for you.' This was what WH Smith description of the book.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves fashion and beauty as well anyone who lacks confidence.

I can't wait to see what her next book; "The Luxe Life" will entail.

Hope you like this post.

L'oreal Infallible Foundation Review

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write a review of L'oreal Infallible foundation, i briefly mentioned it in my top 3 full coverage foundations. But i wanted to write a review in more detail.

L'oreal Infallible is high coverage longwear foundation that hides the appearance of fatigue and blemishes. With a Hydrating Hyaluron Comlex the 24H non-stop formula is touch-proof and stays fresh for lasting comfort. The foundations feels nice on the skin, helps contract any redness or any discolourations on the face.
It create a light matte with a slight glow so it looks natural.
The foundation is good for the price as its only £9.99. The packaging is also quite nice and compact. With the clear, square bottle which is great as it shows how much product is left.It has a black bit then pump enclosed by a red lid.

Hope you like this post.

L'oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in JLO Nude Review

Hi Chappes,

I wanted to write a post about L'oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in JLO Nude. I have previously mentioned this is my 5 top drugstore lipsticks, but i wanted to write a post about it in more detail.

The lipstick is in this lovely chic packaging. Its back with gold band and the 'a shell' which the lipstick comes out of is also a gold. On the base of the lipstick in the type of lipstick and Jlo's signature. The lipstick is perfect for travelling as it easy fits into your makeup bag and it will fit into any makeup storage.

The lipstick is a lovely pinky, brown nude - perfect for everyday makeup looks. Its like your lips but better. I love wearing for school as its moisturising and pigmented. The lipstick is great for pale skin, and perfect for every season.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Lancome Doll Eye palette review.

Hi chappes,

Happy Saturday! I haven't written a makeup review for a while so i wanted to write a review on the Lancome Doll Eye palette. These is the only high-end eye palette i own and its really nice.

The palette is so pretty, it creates a neutral sparkly eye. It was a white shade. a copper shade, a beige shade, a grey shade and a dark brown shade.

I tend to use the white shade as a brow highlight, the copper shade all over the lid and the grey and brown in my crease to create an everyday smokey eye.

It comes with a lovely mirror and the packaging is really compact, perfect for travel!

I would highly recommend this palette as your first high end palette or for any makeup lovers.

Hope you like this post.
