What's In My Travel Makeup Bag 2018

I'm just back off holiday, which is the reason why I haven't been blogging for the past 2 weeks. To be honest, it was quite nice to have a little break from the normal routine and a creative break.
To be honest I'm not a light makeup packer especially on holiday (well actaully not a light packer in general - I always have the largest suitcase ;)) I tend to stick to my favourite and well loved products so my skin doesnt react on holiday and usually I'm in a rush for breakfast so quick looks.

Skincare

As it's sunny and warm at the moment skicnare its quite a key for me as my skin can get quite dehydrated and dry. So I do use my trusty Simple Day and Night Cream for day and night. As extras I use the Solait Face Suncream to keep my face protected.
During my holiday I did have a slight skin reaction on my face were it began really dry and I was recommend to try the Eau Thermale Avène Lip Butter which is oil based and treated it amazingly!

Makeup

Brows and Eyes

For brows I took my very trusty Tanya Burr Cosmetic Perfect Brow Palette, this is an amazing palette for beginners in brows.
Then for eyes I use my trusty Maybelline Creme Beige Colour Tattoo and then took my new favourite summer palette the Morphe 3502, lovely array of warm shades. I also took my holy grail palette - the Naked Palette, this was my first high end palette and I also go back to it. I did take an eyeliner, the Selfie Flick, to be honest I only wore it for an evening meal as my eyes kept watering in the sun so it just smudged. Then for mascara I took 2 of fave the Maybelline Lash Sensational and Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara - I'm big fan of that range.

Face

I took my trusty Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - it's a good coverage, lovely formalution and long wearing so perfect for travelling. Then for concealer I use a mixture of the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer and the Collection Lasting Perfection to cover up any blemishes or discolourisations. To set my face I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and to pretend I tanned on holiday (as I stay a pale ghost all year round) I use the Rimmel Natural Bronzer in a 3 shape - forehead, cheekbone and jaw line. For finish probably my favourite part -highlighter! I use to Seventeen Shimmer Brick the top 2 shades, pinky toned as that suits my skin tone. I put this is on the top of my cheeks, brow bone and cupids bow.

Lips

I'm one of those people who takes a few lipsticks of holiday but that are literally all the same colour so pink nude. The lipsticks I took were the CT English Beauty (now in the Ct Summer sale), YSL 047 and the L'Oreal 658. All gorgeous lipsticks - CT has matte finish whereas YSL and L'Oreal both have a shine finish.

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely week!

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer has been raved about quite a lot in the blogging community over the past few years. I only recently purchased it has it expand it shade range. As well as I've been on the hunt for a new concealer apart from my trusty Collection concealer.

To start, the packaging is unique with the sponge applicator - some may think it's unhygienic. Personally, I like the applicator has it applies the product nicely under the eyes. The concealer is slightly more expensive at £8.99 but with only half the amount of ml compared to the Collection concealer.

However, I do like the formulation and pigmentation. The formulation contains goji berries with provides anti ageing qualities which I technically don't need but is added qualities. It also contains haloxyl which helps reduce bags and under eye circles which is a lovely bonus especially on days that you haven't had enough sleep.
To be honest, the shade may be slightly too dark and not too brightening under my eyes but isn't orangey at all.

Overall, I really like this Maybelline concealer as it has amazing pigmentation which covers up my dark circles on Monday mornings. But I do like the added qualities like the goji berries and haloxyl.

Hope you like this post.

Please follow and please comment your favourites under eye concealer or if you have tried this one.

Hope you have a lovely day.

Summer Evening Skincare Routine 2018

I love trying new skincare and finding products that actually work for my skin, so I wanted to share my 'Summer Evening Skincare Routine'. Including the PMD Clean* which is an amazing cleaning device. At the moment, I use products to make my skin feeling clean as well as hydrating my skin.

I actually take off my face makeup with the Clean and Clear 'Deep Action' Cream Wash with the PMD Clean device. As the PMD Clean* is a smart facial cleansing device. It has over 7,000 vibrations per minute, including the SonicGlow technology which ensures a deep cleanse. So the deep clean cream wash on the PMD clean makes my skin feel so clean. I also think this has combination has really helped with any breakouts as the silicone bristles helps to clean pores and impurities. As well as the silicone bristles are waterproof and anti-bactierial therefore it wouldnt need to be replaced.

To take off my eye makeup and if there is any remaining makeup (2nd cleanse), I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I have tried every sort of garnier micellar water and have love all of them. This green lid one  is designed for combination/dry skin which actually my skin type.

The next step in my routine is toner, so my go to is The Body Shop British Rose Gel Toner which is enriched with real rose petals as well as organic Community Trade aloe vera from Mexico. The formuluation leaves my skin feeling soft adn hydrated which is refreshing difference to the recent England heatwave (yes a English person talking about the weather! 😂 )

My finally step in my routine is moisturisers, so for my face I use the Simple Water Boost Skin Quench Sleeping Cream. Which is lovely refreshing moisturiser which also great for my sensitive skin. Then to moisture my lips I use the EOS Lip Balm, which hydrates my lips and prevents my lips cracking or dehydrated.

I hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely weekend!

My Gym Makeup Look 2018

I don't want to be that girl who wears a full face of makeup to the gym but I'm not confident to wear none, so I have found the minimal makeup look that I'm comfortable to wear. But it's also makeup I feel comfortable to wear outside the gym on the walk to and from the gym.

To prepare my skin i use my Simple Day Cream which hydrates my skin then for my lips the Soap and Glory lip balm.

For a natural brow look I use my trusty Tanya Burr Brow Palette like usual! Then for eyes I just put a tiny bit of bronzer in the crease then mascara - Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara. Natural eyes which make me feel more awake!

For a light weight base I use the Garnier BB Cream which help to illuminates, hydrates, contains 15 SPF (great for the English heatwave) as well as adds some coverage. To set the BB cream slightly I apply a touch of Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to prevent some shine. Two things I always apply is Rimmel Bronzer and Tanya Burr 'Forever Summer' Highlighter

I know this sounds quite a lot of makeup for some but its quite minimal for me and makes me feel comfortable.

I hope you like this post and have a lovely day.

Please follow and please comment what makeup look you wear to the gym if any!

Morphe 3502 Palette

In my last post I mentioned that the Morphe 3502 was one of my summer staples as I love warm tones on my eyes. Especially that I have green eyes so orange/bronze shades make my eyes pop!! (not literally ;)) And this is my first ever Morphe palette - I had heard alot of great things about the quality especially for the price so I so looking forward for this to arrive!

As it suggests in the name the palette contains 35 gorgeous shades, as it has 35 shades its quite big so dont too convient for travelling but fits perfectly in my drawers. And I do like the sleek black packaging.
The palettte contains 35 pigmneted shades with a mixture of finishes.

First Row:

Universal – Peach brown matte
Pure – Golden cream chrome
Orb – Orange brown matte
Tan – Warm tan matte
Sizzle – Orange copper foil

Amber – Rose-gold cayenne shimmer

Bronzie – Rusty bronze foil

Second Row:

Flux – Cinnamon matte
Contour – Golden brown matte
Heat – Warm red matte
Ablaze – Red orange velvet matte
Sauce – Gilded orange foil

Fire – Intense red orange matte
Ruby – Red coral shimmer

Third Row:

Zodiac – Bronze gold chrome
Polished – Rose gold duo-chrome
Spice – Medium peachy brown matte
Terracotta – Reddish brown matte
Brick – Rusty velvet matte
Rustic – Peachy golden red foil
Zippy – Copper brown chrome

Fourth Row:

Dust – Ash muddy brown matte
Risky – Warm red brown matte
Chestnut – Reddish plum brown matte
Halo – Deep taupe plum shimmer
Rich – Warm chestnut brown matte
Brave – Intense reddish brown matte

In the Zone – Warm burgundy brown matte

Fifth Row:

Fawn – Deep taupe brown matte
Stone – Ash brown matte
So Warm – Deep warm brown matte
Toast – Warm chestnut brown matte
Brunette – Deep plum brown matte
Muddy – Deep ash brown matte
Whiz – Intense deep black matte

As you can see from the swatches the shadows are so pigmented especially the glittery shades. The formualation is also really nice and blendable. There's a few brighter shades which look quite daunting so I use a tiner bit in the crease as I'm not that bold!

My go to look with this palette is 'Flux' and 'Contour' as transitional shades; with 'Polished' on the lid and then 'Fawn' to darken the crease. But you can create a range of looks both for daythime as well as evening looks and natural or bright dependent on ocasion or mood.

Overall I love this palette - gorgeous array of lovely pigmneted and wearable shades which are easy to blend.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day!

5 Summer Makeup Staples 2018

The English weather has been amazing at the moment - sunny and warm. Finally feels like summer - so toay I wanted to share 5 products that I've been reaching for the past few weeks due to the warm weather.

I do love a bronzer all year round but especially in the summer months My go-to is the Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer - it's a gorgeous shade for contouring and perfect for my skin tone. And because I dont naturally tan in the summer adding a bit more bronzer makes me feel a bit better.

To go with the bronzer I do love a glowy highlighter, I do both powder and cream highlighters. But I do reach for the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Cream Highlighter in 'Forever Summer' alot in the summer months. Lovely natural shade but adds a gorgeous glow o the skin which you can bulid up to form a more powerful glow!

I'm more of a warm toned eye girl rather than cool toned. A new warm toned palette that I've been trying and loving (review coming soon..) is the Morphe 3502. My first Morphe palette which has a range of gorgeous shades which are pigmented and a lovely formualtion.

I do love lipsticks with a hydating formualtion in the summer especially when my lips are quite dry. So 2 of my summer staples are the L'Oreal 658 Lipstick and YSL Rouge Volute in 047 - similar pigmentaion and both nude shades. One more beige tone and one pink toned. Both go with every eye look that I love and wear everyday.

I hope you like this post and having a lovely day!
