Giorgio Armani Si Perfume

After 4 years, I finally purchased the Armani Si perfume on my latest trip to London with some friends.  It's always been the perfume I tried at duty frees, boots and other perfume places so I thought it was time that I actually bought a 30ml bottle.

To start with the packaging is really cute with the black lid - it a very luxurious addition to my other fragrances. Even though it's only 30ml it will last me ages and packaging does make look like there's more. I also love the fact the bottle is fairly simple as personally, I don't like a perfume bottle with a complicated design or a design that you fear to break!

One thing I love about this fragrance is that there's a mixture of scents and not one prominent one which can be sometimes quite sickly.

Top Notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Mandarin Oil, Liquer de Cassis
Heart Notes: Rose de Mai Absolute, Neroli Absolute, Egyptian Jasmine Absolute
Base Notes: Patchouli Oil, Blond Woods, Amber, Orcanox, Vanille Absolute

I have noticed from the previous post I love the smell of bergamot which is a top note in this perfume. The range of notes creates a chic, elegant perfume which is a nice change from my other perfumes. I also love its got warm vanilla undertones as it makes it quite chic.

I'm so pleased I finally bought the Si perfume as I love the scent and I feel so sophisticated wearing it ;) And I love the bottle also.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day.

Please follow and comment on your favourite perfume.

PMD Clean*

I have previously mentioned the PMD Clean* on my blog in my 'Summer Skincare Routine', I have still been using it everyday and travelling it so I wanted to write a more detailed review on it. As I have been trying it more over 3 months I can see a clear change/difference.

The PMD Clean is a smart facial cleansing device. It has over 7,000 vibrations per minute, including the SonicGlow technology which ensures a deep cleanse by breaking down dirt and oils from pores. I love the fact that it's great for all skin types with the gentle bristles and 4 customisable modes. As well as having anti-aging properties; to be honest, I have seen changes in fine lines on my forehand.

The PMD Clean has 2 Cleansing Modes:

Mode 1 is Gentle Vibration and Mode 2 is Intense Vibration:

  • Mode 1 I use to apply the cleansing products/face wash in circles to create a lava.
  • Mode 2 I use it to take off my makeup or too deeply cleanse my face

I use the cleansing modes every day and I have really noticed a change in my skin; fewer blemishes and more even skin tone. It also takes off my makeup really nicely as it's silicone it cleans really easily.

As well as 2 Massager Modes:

Mode 3 | Gentle Pulsation and Mode 4 | Intense Pulsation - I rarely use the massager mode, only on pamper evenings really or when I have more time. It makes it really easy to blend in creams and serums but to be honest it's quicker to apply with your hands. However, it does feel 'quite luxurious' to apply products using the massager mode.

Overall I love this cleansing device - it has really helped my skin and taking off my makeup. It's also quite affordable for a cleansing device at £89 and amazing quality. The design is also really nice and available in different colours too.

Hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely day!

Please comment if you use a cleansing device!

And Relax... My Bath Essentials

I do love a bath especially after a long day as I wanted to share 4 differing products that I add to my bath dependent on what sort of bath I fancy. Lots of brands do a range of bath products, for example, Lush and they are all amazing but these are my personal favourites.

Bath Fizzers: Joules Bath Fizzers

This was actually a birthday present from one of my closest friends and I love them! I have actually used all of them so therefore can't close up photos but I still own the box! it contains 4 egg shaped bath fizzers which are individually wrapped and they add a lovely scent to your bath. As they are bath fizzers it doesn't add bubbles or colour so is nice for a relaxing bath.

Bubble Bar: Lush 'The Comforter'

Lush is one of my favourite bath brands and 'The Comforter' is my favourite from the store. As shown in the photo it's pink with white swirls - the main notes are cassis absolute, bergamot oil and cypress oil which creates a lovely pink bath with lots of bubbles. I really like this one if I have a bit more time as I love the scent and I don't want to waste a bath bomb on a quick bath.

Bath Salt: Absolute Aromas Relaxation Epsom Salts*

I have recently tried adding salts to my bath and they are really good for relaxation or muscle ache. This one is formulated with a Relaxation blend which includes Chamomile, Lavender & Tangerine Essential Oils. One cup of this in a bath is amazing and really helps!

Foam Bath: Espa

Running some foam bath under hot running water is a quick easy bath for relaxation and bubbles. This one is technically my mothers but she never uses it so I've been using it and loving it! The Espa Foam Bath as hints of Bergamont, Jasmine and Cedarwood (seems I like Bergamont is my bath products ;)) The bottle is also really nice and feels very luxurious and spa-like.

Hope you like this post and I hope you are having a lovely Bank Holiday!

Please comment your favourite bath products as I would love to try some more bath products.

Trying Nivea Moisturisers

Nivea is one of my favourites, especially it's skincare, due to it being so affordable and good quality. The packaging also looks really nice and not cheap. I recently ran out of my Simple duo so I was looking for a new duo to keep my skin moisturised before makeup and after cleansing.

For a day moisturiser, I started to use the Nivea Daily Essentials 24H Moisture Boost + Nourish Moisturiser Day Cream as a makeup base. It's slightly richer/thick than my previous day moisturisers as it contains Shea butter. Shea Butter has many lovely skin benefits including hydrating and smoothing. The added SPF 15 is great, especially in the sunny months. The tube packaging is also handy as it's compacted especially for travel(the pink lid is an added bonus). The cream also being for sensitive skin is amazing so my skin doesn't react with or become red.

After cleansing I use the matching Nivea Daily Essentials 24H Moisture Boost + Nourish Moisturiser Regenerating Night Cream - it's enriched with Natural Almond Oil which intensively moisturises the skin. It does make my skin feel so soft in the morning and the Pro vitamin B 5 helps to nourish the skin. You do wake up the next day with a nice glow - not an oily one ;) The tube is also really nice and feels quite luxurious for a cream which is only £5.

One aspect of Nivea creams I love is that there are lots of different ranges. So you can also find a moisturiser which is best for you and your skin type. You can also pick on the formulation whether that's light or rich dependent what you like.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely weekend.

Please follow and comment what your favourite Nivea products are.

Rimmel Brow This Way Fill & Sculpt Eyebrow Definer Pencil

Annoyingly my must-loved Tanya Burr Brow Palette was hit pan and broken, so instead of replacing it, I thought it would be great opportunity to try new brow products. I was a big fan of the Benefit Goof Proof Pencil mini which I got from a magazine but the pencil bit seem have gone missing. So I wanted to find a good dupe and I think I found it - the Rimmel Brow This Way Fill & Sculpt Eyebrow Definer Pencil

To start with the packaging is really nice and compact which is perfect for my makeup bag, travelling as well as in my collection. Rimmel is one of my favourite drugstore brands as they are so affordable and good quality. The Rimmel Brow This Way Fill & Sculpt Eyebrow Definer Pencil comes in 4 shades, personally, I'm the Medium Brown shade which is the perfect match.

The definer pencil has 2 ends eyebrow definer with a precise triangular tip and a spoolie brush. The brow definer has a lovely formulation which is long wearing and also easy to use. I do light, small brush strokes to create natural looking brows. As I'm still getting used to the product it does slightly longer than my brow palette, but it will take time and practice. The formulation is also long wearing and doesn't smudge which is great especially in preventing patchy brows which isn't the best look ;) The spoolie brush is really handy to get the right shape for my brows and it's very handy to soften the brows when you've applied too much product.

Overall I'm a big fan of this brow product - it's really affordable and good quality. The shade is also perfect and matches my hair shade. It's easy to use, the time it takes will get better as I get more used to the product. As with brows anyway it's quite to get brows even, even if you have had the product for years.

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely week.

Please follow and please comment your favourite brow products as I would love to try more.

Cream Eyeshadow Edit

Cream eyeshadows have become a usually occurrence in my makeup routine over the past few months. Whether that's just going to the gym or as England has been especially warm I didn't particularly fancy doing a smokey eye with it to smudge in the day due to my watery eyes squinting at the sun ;) Or I have just used it as a base for other eyeshadows.

Maybelline Colour Tattoos

Packaging - 4.5/5

Formulation - 4/5

Pigmentation - 4/5

My most used cream eye shadows have to be the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow, well I use the Creme Beige shade everyday as my eyeshadow base. Then for a quick eye look I either wear Pink Gold or On and On Bronze over the lid with bronzer in the crease dependent what look I would like. Personally I love the formulation of the shadows; they are highly pigmented with a creamy formulation and long lasting too. The packaging is also lovely as it does feel quite luxurious in the little round jars.

Model CO Contour Stick

Packaging - 3/5

Formulation - 4/5

Pigmnetation - 3.5/5

Technially this is actually a cream contour stick but I use it as a cream eyeshadow. It's a great crease shade or buff it in all over the lid for an everyday eye look. The formulation is really nice and creamy with good pigmentation. It's quite orange toned so that's another reason I dont use for contour as I'm pale skin so orange wouldnt look great.

E.L.F Cream Eyeshadow

Packaging - 3/5

Formulation - 3.5/5

Pigmentation - 4/5

The E.L.F Rose Gold Cream Eyeshadow is one of my favourites to wear in the summer months. Similarly to the Maybelline ones, this over the lid with either bronzer or a shade in my brow palette in my crease and I'm good to go! The applicator is like a lip gloss or liquid lipstick which I scored it slightly lower because, sometime you get too much product or not enough as well as I prefer to apply cream eyeshadows with my finger then buff it with a brush. The formulation is really nice and so is the pigmentation so good for the price.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Cream Eyeshadow

Packaging - 3/5

Formulation - 3/5

Pigmentation - 2.5/5

This was part of one fo Tanya Burr Christmas palettes - TB 'Champagne Party' is a lovely highlighter shimmery shade. Your can put it all over the lid for a very natural glowy eye look, but I love it has an inner corner and brow bone highlighter.

So overall my favourite is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo but they are all gorgeous and I would highly recommend.

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely day!

Please follow as I'm only 6 away from 1000 on Bloglovin and I would also love to know what cream eyeshadows to like.

5 Easy Step to Transition Makeup Look Day to Night

Somedays I need a few quick easy steps to turn my day makeup into a more ‘dramatic’ night look. As sometimes I’m at school or work so wear more simple makeup but then in the evening I’m gong out with friends or to a meal. So instead of applying a whole new face of products which could be a waste and get quite expensive. I usually add or top up on certain products to transition my look day to night.

Throughout the day your makeup may have moved, come off or a blemish may have appear. So I like to apply more concealer: my skin colour concealer on these areas, my got to at the moment is the Maybelline Eraser concealer. Then a brightening concealer under the eyes (usually the Collection Lasting Perfection) to make me look more awake especially when I feel tired after a long day.

During the day you can get a bit shiny so a nice sweep of your favourite Powder makes quite a lot of difference (it’s also a way to set your concealer).  Its great especially when you know photos would be taken in the evening so you don’t look shiny or sweaty in photos :)

Bronzer is a key part of my makeup look as I’m naturally ghost pale I like to use bronzer to make me look lees ghost like and more tanned. So I do add more bronzer for a night look and sometimes some contour as my bronzer is warm toned, the cold toned contour just adds a bit more shape to my face.

When transitional from a day to night look I do like to apply more Eyeshadow - whether thats adding more brown shades and creating a smokey eye. Or a pop of colour all over the lid using my Morphe 3502 palette. It such makes a nice change from such a cream shadow over the lid or bronzer in the crease which are my day go to looks.

My final step is adding more Mascara, I do love long voluminous lashes which usually is too much for a day time look as I usually only apply one coat. But to transition to a night look I apply another coat or two or maybe add lashes dependent on the event. I do feel like I look more awake with more mascara and I do feel like mascara finishes a look.

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely day.

My Summer Hair Saviours

Naturally I have curly, frizzy hair so it can easily get quite dry, espeically in these warm months. So I love hydrating, oil enriched products to stop my hair feeling so dry.

Conditioners are always a must for people like me with dry hair but ones without alcohol otherwise my hair would be a puff ball! So the Natural World Coconut Water Conditoner is a hair life saver as it's infused with certified organic Coconut extract and 4 essential oils : Rosemary, Lemongrass, Orange and Ylang Ylang. It provides lightweight hydration and luscious shine to the hair. I do also love that its also 95% natural ingredients as well as being cruelty free and vegan.

I do love a hair mask - I use a mask once a week and leave it for 3 minutes as well as applying a small amount on the ends after every hair wash. My favourite one is the LOreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Hair Mask, for one it smells amazing!! But also it's so affordable (£5) and leaves your hair feelings so nice and soft. I also love that this product is quite verstile you can use it:

In shower: after shampooing, leave in hair for 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing for easy detangling.
As a finishing touch: apply a small amount on dry hair to calm frizz and tame flyaways.

Overnight: apply to dry hair and leave on overnight for intense nourishment, or for 5 minutes before washing.

For the days I'm in a rush I shampoo then use the OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Weightless Reviving Dry Oil. This products is so good and smells gorgeous as well - remins me so much of summer . I do use this product all year round and it's so easy more travel. I do love using a bit of this oil after styling my hair especially when I straighten it - the oil helps with fly-a-ways. It does leave your hair so hsiny (but not greasy shiny);)

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely day!

Please follow and comment if you also have the problem that your hair is dry in these warm months or if you use oil products.

Dermalogica Clear Start Duo

Dermalogica is a brand that I had a lot about but they have so many good products I didnt know where to start - until now. Dermalogica have collaborated with Toff from Made in Chelsea (one of my favourite shows) on a Clear Start Duo*. The Clear Start Duo is a Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask and a Breakout Cleaning Booster. My skin has never been too bad with blemishes, but I do get the hormonal breakouts or the annoying blemishes just before an occasion. I do suffer from blackheads quite badly on my nose - which I am quite self conscious about but gladly they do easily cover up with makeup. So these products sounded amazing to me!!

Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask

The formulation of this mask is so unique and amazing, I use 2 pumps and massage into my T-zone after cleansing. Then it natuarally fizzes - it feels quite weird at first. You only leave it one of 3-5 mins then wash it off with warm water.

The mask contains two main ingredients: Sulfur and Kaolin Clay, the Sulfur help clears the skin and the Kaolin Clay absorbs any excess oils and helps to purifies. So these ingredients together help open and cean pores.

Since using this mask twice a week I have actually seen a difference especially on and around nose. And it has been a life saving during these warm months in the Uk has my T-zone has become more oily whereas my the rest of my face has got drier.

Breakout Cleaning Booster

The Cleansing Booster has a combination of amazing ingredients including Salicyclic Acid, Naiacinamide, Phytoplankton Extract and Seaweed Extract. The Salicyclic Acid helps kill breakout causing bacteria, Naiacinamide reinforces the skins defensive barrier,
Phytoplankton Extract prevents any over-drying and the Seaweed Extrac locks in moisture to help soothe irritated skin.

This was honestly a must have on my holiday as when you are away you tend to take alot of photos so you want your skin to look nice. And the added treats on holiday doesnt help like ice cream or dessert on a hotel set menu.
A thin layer on any blemishes at night has really helped. Or on a really bad skin day I apply it all over the face after cleansing and before moistriser.

Overall I'm so happy with the Clear Start* range from Dermalogica , its honestly really helped my skin. It actually launched on the 2nd August so is available to buy. I would highly recommend these products to anyone who wants to try new skincare products for blemishes and blackheads.

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Please follow and comment your favourite skincare products.

July Favourites 2018

As it's the 1st of August this means its time for my monthly favourites from July. July was warm and hot for the Uk which was lovely and refreshing - which has meant I've tried more hydrating products or products to keep my makeup on all day.

Beauty Favourites

My new go-to summer palette - the Morphe 3502! It has a gorgeous array of warm tones which I think suit my green eyes really nicely . And I love the orange/red tones which are slightly different to my other palettes in my collection.

A hydating lip balm and lipstick are necessary for my in the heat especially, so my favourite lip balm in the Palmers Coconut Oil Lip Balm. Then my favourite moisutirising lipstick is actually one I picked up whilst I was in hoilday in Austria - it's the Catrice Dewy-ful Lips in 020. Lovely nude hade which conditions my lips.

As I'd previsouly mentioned in my last blog post the Eau Thermale Avène Lip Butter was amazing at helping my dry skin that I got due to the heat. As it's castor oil based its higly hydrating and nourishing on the skin.

Other Favourites

Similar to previous months Love Island is one of my favourite shows - watching it every night. The finally was last night - I'm so happy Jack and Dani won ( you could tell from like week one that they would win!). I dont know what I'm going to do with my evening now as I watched Love Island everyday for 2 months ;)

I was looking for a good series to binge watch as I had some free time and I came across Suits on amazon prime. IT IS AMAZING!!! I literally binge watched 7 seasons in 2 weeks as I was so obsessed! Gladly I finished just in time to watch the new season 8 episodes which are happening at the moment.  To be honest I also started watching it because Megan Markle was in it - so I was mentioned quite alot in recent years.

The Gym was been one of my favourites thing to do this month. I had never steped into a gym until the end of June. I always saw it as a daunting place but I've always wanted to lose weight and get in shape that I would like. As well as not being conscious of lumps and bumps in photos etc.. But recently I've been going everyday - attending different classes including yoga (which I'm not great at as I keep losing my balance ;) ) But I have gone with friends which has made it more of a social occasion as well as all of use trying to hit our goals.

I hope you had a lovely July and hope you will have a lovely August!!

Please follow and comment what your favourites have een for the month of July.

Thank you for reading!
