Mini FeelUnique Haul March 2019

I've recently treated myself to a few items from Feelunique. I originally went on the website to test the new body butter from the Zoella fruits collection but I picked up a few other things as well.

I do love Zoella Beauty, unfortunately, this fruit range is the last collection she is bringing out which is a shame the reasoning is understandable. The main item in the collection which stood out to me is the Zoella Beauty Fruits Peach Body Sorbet. One of my favourite fruits are peaches and I love peach scented things - a friend has a peach scented perfume and smells so good! I thought this body sorbet would be lovely for the upcoming spring and summer months. Firstly the packaging is so cute, with the little peach on top. The scent of this is sooo nice and so summery! The scent isn't too sweet which is lovely and absorbs really quickly.

There was a sale on FeelUnique and I saw that Zoella Milky Way Bath Powder which was part of her Christmas collection was on sale for £2.50. I do love a good bath product, and I'm soon going home from uni I'm going to be using this. I do own the hand cream from Zoe's Christmas range so I know I love the scent but I am looking forward to trying this out.

One thing I wanted to try for a while is the FeelUnique Pick 'N' Mix, where you can pick 5 samples to try from a lovely selection. The concept is really good 5 samples then pay 3.95 postage then the next 5 samples have free postage so basically, 10 samples for £3.75 which is good I think! This round of minis I picked
- Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Moisturiser
- YSL Black Opnum Intense Perfume Sample
- Benefit Gimme Brow 03
- Giorgio Armani Powder Fabric Foundation
-Clinique Reboost Moisturiser

They are all really cute mini sizes which is a nice amount to try a range of products. As well as lovely for travelling.

Overall I'm really happy with all my little purchases,

Hope you like this post and let me know if you had ever tried the Pick  'N' Mix before,

Makeup I Love For The Transitioning Months

Happy Monday!! This week marks the start of spring, however, the British weather has made it feels like spring for a while. However, it did hail/snow yesterday which was weird! In today's post, I wanted to share a few pieces of makeup that I've been using the past few weeks as its transitioning from the winter makeup to spring makeup.

I do love a good glowy highlighter, especially over the spring summer months. A bronzy glowy look is my fave, especially in the warm months. The highlighter I've been loving at the moment is the Zoella x Colourpop Swipe Me Right highlighter. It's a lovely highlight with gold and pink tones and not too dark for my skin which is quite common with some highlighters as Im so pale!

I do love a hydrating or a glossy lip in the transitioning months, as your lips can get quite dry over the cold months. But I also love the look of a more glossy pink lip int he summer. Some of my go tos are the Clinque Super Strawberry chubby stick - a lovey red hydrating lip. This matched with brown eye looks very nice for a quick everyday look. A few other of my favourite lips are the L'Oreal Colour Shine 658 Lipstick and the MaxFactor Honey Lacqeur Lipstck. Both gorgeous pink shades wiht a hydrating glossy formulations.

I do like quick and easy makeup which creates lovely looks, that makes you looked put together. So I do love an easy sparkle eyeshadow, usually liquid eyeshadows. Whether thats the ELF rose gold eyeshadow, but recently I've been loveing the Zoella x Colourpop Bellini eyeshadow. It's literally my dream shade in a liquid eyeshadow. So a swipe on my lid, then blending in across the lid is a quick and easy good.

Hope you like this post, and hope you are having a lovely Monday!

Please comment on your favourite makeup items for the transitioning months.

Pretty In Pink Nails

Pink is one of my favourite colours and is my go-to nail shade. Especially for day to day using and adding a glitter top coat for a night out look. In this post, I wanted to share a few of my favourite pink nail shades, formulations and pigmentation. All these nail varnishes you can find on the high street. I do love pink nail polishes, especially in the spring summer months.

Binky London

Packaging: 3/5
Formulation: 3/5
Coverage: 4/5

Binky London is a brand I stumbled across in coop one time, I originally picked it up for my leavers summer prom last year. As it adds a lovely bit of pink glitter to the nails. The nail varnish does actually dry quite quickly. The varnish is also quite hard to smudge because the varnish contains chunky glitter.

Barry M

Packaging: 3/5
Formulation: 4/5
Coverage: 4/5

I had heard a lot of lovely things about Barry M nail varnishes, so I was excited to buy one apart from I couldn't find it for this photo so hopefully, I will find it soon. The pink shade is also really nice, it's a mid pink and perfect for the upcoming spring season.
The varnishes are also quite to dry and one layer is enough for opaque colour.

Rimmel

Packaging: 3/5
Formulation: 3/5
Coverage: 4/5

I owe 2 different sorts of Rimmel nail version:
- Salon Pro New Romantic
- 60-second shine Ring A Ring O'Roses

Both of the colours are gorgeous, however, in my experience, it dries in more than 60 seconds. Usually, for me, it takes at least 10 mins for my nails to dry. However, the formulations of both of the shades are lovely and so affordable. Ring A Ring O'Roses is a lovely rosy pink; slightly darker than the New Romantic. The New Romantic shade is a paler nude pink.

L&K

Packaging: 4/5
Formulation: 3/5
Coverage: 3/5

This was kindly gifted to me by a friend for my birthday. It's a lovely pink shade, the formulation is sheerer than some of the other shades meaning a few more layers need to be applied for opaque coverage.
The packaging is also lovely with the grey details on the lid, therefore, looks nice in my nail varnish collection.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics

Packaging: 3/5
Formulation: 4/5
Coverage: 4/5

Technically, Tanya Burr Cosmetics has been discontinued however the products are still available. Tanya Burr Cosmetics nail varnishes have a matte formulation, the shade ' Piggy Bank' is a rosy pink shade. The packaging is also lovely, with the gold lid.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day and weekend!

My Favourite New In Products March 2019

The beauty industry is always bringing out new products, new formulations and ranges.  Which is amazing as there are always new products to try and love. However, I have to be selective on what I purchase so I don't spend too much money. So in this post, I wanted to share some of my favourite new products that I would love to try.

Zoella X Colourpop Collection

This is one collection that I've already purchased as I loved the look of it. My review is here. The collection is so cute, the packaging is adorable it being a brunch theme. The shades are so me with the copper, pinks and golds. The pigmentations are very good for the price, the highlighter is slightly powdery but does add a lovely glow. The lip shade is my go to at the moment - the pink nude shades.

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette

I do love an Urban Decay, the packaging and shade are lovely. The original Naked palette is one of my personal favourites. Therefore when Urban Decay released an updated version since getting rid of the old one I was so happy! This palette is fairly similar to the original, therefore when my palette has hit my pan this will be my got to. This is also a palette I would highly recommend if someone is looking for a gorgeous palette.

Charlotte Tilbury Latex Love Lipstick

Another one of my favourite brands has released some more makeup, Charlotte Tilbury new additions are the Latex Love lipstick collection. The Latex love range are hydrating lip glosses which are enriched with oils eg crame seed oil. These look perfect for spring, hydrating and pigmented!

Imogenation x Lottie London Range

Imogen is such a positive lovely youtuber, so I do love this glowing makeup collection she's collaborated with for Lottie London. Her insta stories show the collection adds a lovely glow to the skin; face, lips and eyes. Therefore looks perfect for summertime.

Morphe 35G Palette

I do love bronze shades, the glitters and the range of mattes. This looks so me!!! The shades are stunning and they look perfect for the upcoming summer/spring shades. The packaging also looks lovely and the formulations of Morphe shades are amazing!!

Benefit Checkleaders Face Palettes

I do love Benefit face products; bronzer, blushes and highlighters.  My favourite one is the bronze selection as I do love a bronzed look! The shades are so good, pigmentation and formulations. This also looks like a lovely palette for travelling.

There seems to be a bit of a theme with these products; BRONZED! I can't wait for summer makeup, bronzed looks and glowing!

hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day!

March Skincare Routine 2019

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Skincare is one of my favourite things, trying new products and seeing the results.  In this post, I wanted to share my go-to products at the moment for my everyday skincare routine. This tends to change season to season as well as how good my skin is.

Nivea MicellAIR Water

I do love good micellar water, as it's so quick and easy to use. Placed some cleanser on 2 cotton pads and take most of my makeup off and eye makeup. Technically I do purchase the one which is on special offer but I do like this Nivea one as its really nice on the skin. And I do the fact it's 3 in 1 as well so for face, lips and eyes.

Dermalogica Cleansing Gel*

Dermalogica has definitely become one of my favourite skincare brands. I use this gel to make sure I get all my makeup off especially when I wear a lot of makeup.
The ingredients of the cleanser are also really good as it contains calming Balm Mint and lavender extracts which soothes the skin, as well as, natural Quillaja Saponaria which gently foams away toxins and debris.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant*

This is probably my favourite step of my skincare routine as it makes your skin so soft after. As well as making my skin feel so clean after. And a small amount of product goes a long way! A pinch of the powder with a splash of water helps clean your whole face.

Pixi Rose Tonic Water

I do love good tonic water especially when its pink! A tiny bit of this on a cotton pad is enough for the whole face. It's so refreshing on the skin and adds a gorgeous glow. I have definitely seen a difference in my skin since using this and I would love to buy the big version when I have finished with the mini.

Nivea Pure & Clean Revitalising Night Cream

A perfect end to finish a skincare routine is a good moisturiser, therefore my go to in the nivea night cream. And the formulation is really nice and it's affordable. Nivea is a lovely skincare brand I always seem to go back too.  This revitalising night cream makes your skin so soft and refreshed at night as well as in the morning.

I do love how this routine makes my skin feel and how it helps with any blemishes I do have on my skin. I'm happy that I've actually found a routine which works!

Hope you like this post and are having a lovely day!

Testing Zoella X Colourpop Makeup Collection

Happy International Women's Day!!! One of my favourite girl bosses is Zoe Sugg so 'Zoella', and she recently collaborated with Colourpop. I've always wanted to try Colourpop and I thought it was a great opportunity to try a few of the products, especially as it was free worldwide shipping.

I've watched Zoe's channel since I was 13 so 5 ish year, it's been amazing to see the opportunities she's had including this brand collabaortion. Zoe's channel along with some other started my love of makeup and beauty and that anyone can create amazing looks without training so I was so excited to ba able to get my hands on some of the products.

The brunch theme of the collaboration is so cute, the packaging and the shades are so me!! I decided to pick up one of the liquid eyeshadows, pressed highlighter and a liquid lip. I would have loved to have tried the palette also, but I think I've quite a few palettes already however this could change ;)

Liquid Eyeshadows are my go to in spring and summer as it can create quick and easy looks. As the shadow can be placed directly on the lid and blended across the lid with some bronzer in the crease. The shade 'Bellini' intermediately stood out to be as it's metallic rose gold, which is one of my favourite eye shades. It creates a gorgeous sparkly shade that really compliments my green eyes.

I do love a good highlighter, especially in the summer months to add some glow into my skin. Therefore when I saw Swipe Right Highlighter, I added to straight to my basket. The packaging is super cute, with a slightly raised heart and the pink. The added mirror in the palette makes it great for travelling.   The highlighter is a soft peach with a pink duochrome flex. The formulation is lovely and blends really nicely onto the skin, to add a natural glow which can be built up. When I first saw it I was wary about the shade thinking it was too dark for my skin, however, it's not. I do think it will look lovely on more skin tones

I do love matte liquid lipsticks, however, they can be fairly drying but I had heard a lot of lovely things about the Colourpop formulation. Out of the three that Zoe released in the collection,  @Me stood out. As I do love a pink lip and this lipstick is a dusty pink mauve, which compliments most of my makeup looks. The applicator is also really easy to use, to create the perfect lip shade and shade is similar to my Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk lip liner therefore perfect match!

Overall I'm really pleased with 3 products I purchased from the collection, I would love to try more of the Zoella x Colourpop collection. The photo below shows the swatches of the 3 products on my fair skin. The lipstick looks slightly darker on my arm compared to my lips.

Hope you like this post.

Please follow and comment if you have purchased anything more the Zoella x Colourpop collection.

February Favourites 2019

My week off uni also seemed to be a 2 week off blogging which it didn't mean to be. But February has been an odd month, getting work done, enjoying my week off uni at home as well as the lovely summy British weather at the end of the month. So this mixture of events is highlighted in the variety of my favourites.

Beauty Favourites

My go-to palette for summer last year was the Morphe 3502 Palette, with the brown, golden shades. Recently I have been reaching the palette this palette the past few weeks as the weather has been really nice. The shades are also all pigmented therefore can create quick looks, one shade all over the lid and blended with bronzer in the crease.

Two of my favourite things are Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and the colour pink.  I love a love pink lip in the sunny spring months, Charlotte Tilbury Kidman Kiss is gorgeous pink shade. Which is a slightly bright pink shade compared to the rest of my lipsticks. The long-lasting formula meaning that the pigmented colour lasts all day.

I do love a good night cream, Nivea Pure and Natural Night Cream is my personal fave for everyday! This makes your skin feel so soft especially the morning after therefore the makeup applies really nicely.

Other Favourites

Like most people, one of my new year resolutions was to eat healthier Snacking was one of my main issues, so the past month I discovered frozen blueberries. Frozen blueberries are quite addictive, but they are healthy. I have accidentally dyed my lips blue one or twice whilst eating them but easily comes off.  But it's great to be added to smoothies and porridge as well.

I do love a good series to binge, and I seem to get through series very quickly. This past watch I've been loving the Jane the Virgin series, especially as the final season starts on March 27th I don't have long to see what happens next. It's a series which is a bit of everything; romance, comedy and crime.

I had heard a lot about matcha from healthy, fitness bloggers but never thought I would like it! So when I saw the option of Tetley Super Green Matcha Blueberry Tea at ASDA I added it to my shopping bag. It's so good, and a lovely addition to my evening routine.

I hope you all had a lovely February, and hope you have a great March!!!

Please follow and comment your favourites for February.
