The Wardrobe Addition I'm Making Space For Summer 2019

I recently read a post from Kate La Vie blog on The Wardrobe Addition I'm Making Space For Spring and love it and the clothing items which mentioned so thought I would do a similar post with some of the clothes I would lvoe for summer.

I do love ASOS, and they have some gorgeous pieces which are perfect for summer. They have alot of lovely pieces but these are my favourites:
ASOS DESIGN square neck linen midi sundress
As you can tell I been loving playsuit, jumpsuirs and maxi dresses this season. Super flattering and perfect for every occasion.

PrettyLittleThing is a brand that I love the look of their clothes but never actually bought any of their clothes. These pair of trousers look so flattering they are the Diya Black Pin Stripe Casual Trousers . These look lovely and light weigh for the summer season.

One of my favourite clothing brands is Boohoo; an afforable brand and most of their stuff are my style which is a bonus. Two of my favourites are:
Mini Polka Dot Short Sleeved Shift Dress
Tall High Waist Twin Pack Denim Mom Shorts
Shift dresses are my favourite as they arent too tight fitting as I'm quite a self consicous person so want to feel comfortable. Then as I'm tall I usually shop for bottom clothing like trouers, jean and jumpsuits in the tall section of sites. This short look super comfortable and perfect for holidays so we defintely but these soon.

Zara is a very me that suits my style. These shoes look lovely for summer and a good dupe for the Chanel espadrilles and about the 20% of the price. These are called Esparto Espadrilles and Zara do a variety of shades.

Another high street brand I love and regularly shop at is New Look. This one piece that stood out to me which is part fo the Rochelle Edit and its a lovely Red Spot Shirred Square Neck Top. I do love a bit of red in my wardrobe and this looks lovely and summery. And spots and square necks are very much in fashion this season.

I'm going to Africa this summer so to respect the culture you need to cover up - dunagrees are perfect. As they long legged and with a tee is a lovely effortless look. I love these  Lucy and Yak Umi Dunagrees and are made out of 100% organic cotton which is an added bonus.

Sunnies are a must for summer to protect your eyes from the suns glear so I've actually recentl purchased the M&S Sorrento Cat Eye Sunglasses. Personally I love the cat eye style and I think look flattering on my face shape.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day!

Please comment if there are any items that you are hoping to buy this summer season,

What I've Been Watching, Reading and Listening To Lately June 2019

Happy Wednesday! I'm quite a nosey person so I find 'What I've Been Watching, Reading and Listening To Lately' so interesting. As I'm always looking for new things to watch, to read and to listen too. So in today's post I wanted to share what I've been doing the past few weeks/months.

Watching

I've definitely turned into a binge series sort of person; my friends do make fun out of me how quickly I can get through a series. At the moment I have been loving the Netflix original 'The Society', 'Gavin and Stacey' has been repeatedly watched as well as the latest series of 'Jane the Virgin'.

Reading

As I've mentioned in a previous post similar to these I'm not much of a book reader. I do love a good fashion magazine (makes nice blog flatlays as well ;)). I usually get a different one most months; dependent on the articles. So my go tos are either Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and the Blogosphere Magazine. All the magazine have amazing photography and articles but can also give create beauty and fashion inspiration.

Listening

There have been lots of things I've been loving to list to recently including the latest Lewis Capaldi album "Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent". But I do also love a good musical so I've been loving the 'Six' and 'Waitress'  soundtrack; they've been on in the background whilst doing my workouts.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely day!

Please  comment on what you've been watching, reading and listening to lately.

Holiday Makeup Essentials 2019

Last week I was in a bit of a bloggers writing block, one of the suggestions was a 'Holiday Essentials' post. It is coming up to holiday season, some of my friends and family are already on holiday and I will be soon. So in today's post, I wanted to share my holiday makeup essentials which would definitely be in my makeup bag as well as my usual makeup items aha.

Good skincare is a must for me on holiday especially on hot days as you want your skin hydrated and sun protected. Therefore every morning I apply a mixture of the Solait Face Suncream SPF 50 and Neutrogena Hydro Boost Supercharged Booster. As you need to protect your skin as I'm so pale I need SPF 50 haha.

I do try to not take too much makeup on holidays so I do love palettes. Well my go-to palette at the moment is the Charlotte Tilbury 'Dreamagsm' Palette. This champagne, copper-bronze and rose-gold shade palette are perfect for travelling. It's a gorgeous compact palette where you can create a variety of looks with only 4 shades. The mirror is a lovely feature which is great for travelling and to have it on the go.

My go-to face palette is the ABH Contour Palette, with 3 powders and 3 bronzer/contour shades. I love with this palette that the bronzer shades can easily become eye shadows. These shades are also lovely on the face and blend very easily. The powders are so fine therefore not look cakey and create at mattifying any shine. As well as no flashback for the holiday photos hahaha which is an added bonus.

I do love my lip options, different colour, formulations dependent on my mood and look. I usually go a bit overboard with the lip option, on well aha. These are 2 options which will definitely be in my makeup bag:
I do love a good lipgloss at the moment and I have especially been wearing the NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu. I do the formulation of these lip glosses literally like butter on the lips. The shade is a lovely pinky nude, which is beaut just by itself or layered on top of other lipsticks or with a liner.

For a matte lip, Zoella X Colourpop '@Me' Liquid Lipstick which is a gorgeous dusty mauve lipstick shade. The applicator is also really easy to use, to create the perfect lip shade and matches my 'Pillowtalk' CT liner which is lovely if I want a more plump lip look. The formulations are lovely also not drying at all for a matte lip which I know can happen quite common in matte lips. The pigmentation is also so good for the price.

Hope you like this post and it can be useful!

Please comment on your holiday makeup essentials.

Trying Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadows

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite brands which most of you would probably know if you are a frequent blog reader of mine. But I have mainly tried her lipsticks, some of her skincare and perfume.  I really like the look of the Charlotte Tilbury eye products and I have had my eye on a few products in particular for a while. But as CT is more of a pricey brand I wanted to make sure I liked them before buying them. So I did do a little haul and treated myself to some CT eye products.

Firstly I treated myself to the 'Dreamgasm' Luxury Palette, I do love the CT little quad as they look so cute and perfect for travel. I do love rose gold, sparkly eye looks so when this limited edition palette and it contained all champagne, copper-bronze and rose-gold shades. I was like YES PLEASE!! haha and added to my basket. The 'Dreamgasm' Palette is lovely in the fact that it contains shades from a mixture of different palettes, including the Transform-eyes, Pillow Talk and Bella Sofia Luxury Palettes. Which I like for a first luxury palette purchase, as it has been deciding between the Pillow Talk and the Bella Sofia (previously Dolce Vita) for a while but now its the best of both worlds.
This palette is gorgeous for summer with its rich rose golds and bronze shades, which I think compliments my green eyes. The formulation and pigmentation are lovely as well, easy to blend. As there are 4 shades you can use them all of them for a look or just a few shades. The matte shade is definitely the most pigmented, the glitter shades are gorgeous but not as pigmented as the matte with is usual for palettes.

The 'Bronzed Garnet' Colour Chameleon, I have waited for years! Really since Zoe and Tanya's 5-minute makeup challenge which I think was summer 2016. They both used it all over the lid and smoked it out and looked stunning. I did have a quick look on the website and saw it was in the shades for green eye section as it's a metallic red toned bronze. So it has been sat in my basket for a while so finally bought it haha. Eyeshadow pencils are so easy to use, just a swipe of colour and blend. Therefore a quick and simple eye look but does look stunning on the lid. The packaging also feels luxurious which is a bonus.

I love both of these products, and even though it was a little chunk out of my bank account aha but I know that I will get a lot of use out of the palette and eyeshadow stick.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day!

Please comment on what your favourite Charlotte Tilbury product is...

Summer Skincare Routine using Nivea*

Recently, I was added to Nivea Family which I'm very grateful about as Nivea is one of my favourite skincare brands. Therefore I was kindly sent a package containing some of their new Urban Skincare range. So I have been testing out the Urban Skincare range alongside some other Nivea products that I already own. To create a full skincare routine using Nivea; which is effective and makes your skin lovely and clean.

To start with the cleanse; I either use the MicellAir Professional Micellar Water or
the Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes* dependent on my mood haha.
MicellAir Professional Micellar Water is lovely micellar water to get all your makeup off and leaving your face lovely a fresh. I have tried both the usual and the waterproof one and love them both. So small amount on 2 large oval pads is perfect for cleansing the whole face.
Usually, when I'm tired or if I'm travelling I use the Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes as they are easy to use and gets all my makeup off including my heavy makeup and lots of mascara. I haven't used wipes in ages, however as they are 100% plant fibres and the fragrant is lovely as well.

Next, I use the 3-in-1 Urban Skin Detox Clay Wash*; this is a wash, scrub and mask all in one. A small pea amount of the clay wash is enough to wash your whole face and leaves your face sparkling and wash haha. I tend to use it in the evening, after cleansing but also sometimes in the morning to leave more refreshed. I usually use this as a mask once a week; I usually apply it on a dry face and using the PMD Clean* device to equally distribute the prodcut on my face but you can ust use your hands. Then leave it for 5 mins and wash it off with warm water.

I use this only once a week and then I use the Peel off Urban Skin Detox Mask*. Both the Detox Mask and the Clay Wash contains Black Rice and Green Tea extract which are both lovely on the skin and leaves your skin feeling radiant. I do love this on a pamper evening and I love that it's peeling.

Finally for moisturiser; for the mornings I use my trusty Day Essentials Moisturising Day Cream*. I was kindly sent another one but I have been using this for years, a lovely light moisturiser which leaves your skin so smooth and a lovely makeup base. The added SPF 15 is a bonus, protecting your skin from the sun throughout the day.
Then for the evening, I use my current favourite night cream; the Pure and Natural Night Cream. It's a lovely and rich cream which leaves your face lovely and soft. And your makeup applies gorgeously the next morning and adds a summer glow to the skin.

The combination of these products makes your skin lovely and clean, cleansing all the makeup off and has helped me preventing blemishes. As all these products are Nivea they are super affordable and can get from your local shop. I would highly recommend all these products.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day!

Mid-Year Beauty Favourites 2019

Happy Monday!  It's nearly half way through 2019, so I wanted to share a few of the makeup products that I have been loving the past few month. This year I have loved trying a range of new products as well as other products in my collection.

I do love warmer tone shades on my lids, especially as I'm green-eyed. So Morphe 35O2 Palette is the perfect palette for me. As the palette has a range of warm shades; browns, red, glitters and mattes. Perfect for day time and night, as well as transitioning looks throughout the day.
It wouldn't be me if I didn't mention at least one product which is Charlotte Tilbury. This is quite a new purchase but already one of my favourite palettes is the Charlotte Tilbury 'Dreamgasm' Palette. I have been looking at this palette for a while but finally treated myself to it. It's a gorgeous quad with rose gold, copper and champagne shades which are my fave. I think this is also a lovely travel palette for the upcoming months.

Liquid eyeshadow is a lovely, quick and easy way to apply eyeshadow. The Zoella X Colourpop Bellini Eyeshadow is a lovely dupe for the Stila Glitter and Glow in Bronzed Bell. Perfect for a quick look, this with a bit of bronzer in the crease is a great everyday look. The formulation is lovely and sparkly, with the sponge applicator it's to apply and blend.

After seeing a lot of recommendations; I purchased the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer and love it! The coverage for the price is amazing! I use this for either a foundation on the days when I want a quick makeup look or a concealer for a fuller makeup face / to cover blemishes or dark undereye circles.

This past year I have really got into glosses. I love the look of them over a nude lipstick to finish off a look; 2 of my faves are the NYX Butter 'Tiramisu' Gloss and Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer.
NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu is a 'your lips but better' shade, with a gorgeous formulation. The pink tones which I love and the formulation isn't sticky and doesn't cling onto dry patches. The CT pillowtalk lip liner and this gloss is a lovely everyday look. The Fenty Beauty gloss is a lovely shimmering rose nude shade, which is like my lips but better sort of shade. It looks stunning on the lips and the packaging is lovely.

Hope you like this post,

Please comment your favourite prodcuts so far this year.

Its All About The Brows...

Brows are a personal thing, I only started to do my brows a few years ago since getting rid of my block fringe. I quickly found out brows are a practice makes perfect sort of thing; sometimes are twins sometimes sisters. So in this post, I wanted to share a few of the products I love for my brows and how I maintain their shape.

Brow Kit

Technically this was a present for Christmas from my Aunt and Uncle but my kit is really cute with an angled brush, tweezers and brush. This is lovely for travel, especially with the zoomed mirror is really great for tweezering the brows. I have never got my brows done professionally, just me with some tweezers to shape them and I think they look okay haha. The brush is useful for the days when you have too much product on the brush and they are slightly dark. So the brush helps to tone them down a bit.

Rimmel Brow Palette

As you can tell from the photo I have used this palette a fair amount since the powder has hit pan. The palette contains a powder and a wax so a mix of the two can create your perfect brow shade. I do use the cheap brush in the palette just for convenience, but Any angled brush would work. The first thing that attracted me to this palette was the quality for the price as the palette is under £5 and Rimmel is a brand that I love and trust. The packaging is fairly basic but it hasn't cracked or broken and I have travelled a fair amount so I don't mind the simple packaging.

Benefit 'Gimme Brow' and 'Ready, Set, Brow'

Benefit has a lovely range of brow products and all such great quality; two of my favourites are the 'Gimme Brow' and 'Ready, Set, Brow'. Both of these are brows gels; with Gimme Brow being tinted and 'Ready, Set, Brow' being a clear gel. So Gimme Brow is great for really quick and easy makeup just a brush through and you are ready or on the other hand the days where you want fuller brows. The 'Ready, Set, Brow' is lovely for an everyday brow to keep the shape all day long. At the moment I only own the minis from magazines with the hope to purchase in the near future.

Hope you like this post and it would be lovely if you could comment on what your favourite brow products are as I would love some more,

My Past Week in Lipsticks #11

Happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a lovely day, in today's post I wanted to share some of my favourite lipsticks that I have been wearing the past week. Every day I try and wear a different lipstick, as I've got quite a big collection I would like to use them!

Monday

I do love a hydrating lipstick as well as a pink lip, the YSL Rouge Volupte 047 is the best of both worlds. The packaging is also stunning, with the gold and the YSL logo brand. The formulation is lovely, definitely not a longlasting lip shade but I love it!

Tuesday

On Tuesday I went for my new favourite lip combo; Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk Liner, Charlotte Tilbury English Beauty Lipstick and NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu. It creates a gorgeous pink lip which makes your lips look plump and lovely haha.

Wednesday

On the days I wear quite plain makeup/lazy makeup I reach for my Clinique Super Strawberry Chubby Stick. I love the hydrating formulation and the red pigmentation; a soft bold lip. The pointed application makes it also really nice to apply.

Thursday

I have really got into my lipglosses recently, Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer has been one of my go tos. A lovely natural gloss - your lips but better but it's lovely that it suits every skin tone. And the formulation isn't sticky so your hair doesn't get stuck haha.

Friday

As I have previously mentioned I do love pink lipstick and MAC Brave is a gorgeous spring pink shade. The matte formation is lovely and goes with most of my makeup looks, its a slightly darker pink which is lovely. I do love the bullet MAC lipstick packaging.

Saturday

After not wearing liquid lipsticks for a while, I found my NYX Lip Lingerie 'Bedtime Flirt' and fell back in love with it. Lovely pink shade and the formulation isn't drying and longlasting therefore perfect for days where I'm out all day.

Sunday

Sunday was a chilled relaxing day so a nude pink lip was my go-to - Rimmel 45 Lipstick is definitely one of my most used lipstick. Gorgeous nude and lovely formulation and the pink packaging is an added bonus!

Hope you like this post and have a lovely day!

Please comment on your favourite lipsticks,

June Goals 2019

Happy Monday! Hope you are all well and are having a lovely day. Can't believe its June, nearly halfway through 2019 already. Tomorrow I also finish my first year of uni which is crazy! Meaning I have literally 4 months of summer, so in today's post, I want to share some of my goals for the upcoming months.

> Blogging: I do love my little blog so I would love to put some more effort into it over the summer. As I felt like posts have been less frequent etc, therefore having more time means more and better posts.

> Spending lots of time with friends: I'm lucky enough to some gorgeous friends both at home and uni. And I can't wait to spend some time with my home friends soon; with days out, meals etc. To great lovely memories together.

>  Improve my physical and mental health: it's linked for me as I'm quite a self-conscious person about my appearance so losing weight and toning up for summer will hopefully help with that. Exercise is also really good for you, I recently purchased the Carly Rowen Get Gorgeous Guide and hopefully that will help me on my journey.

> Travel: I've already got one holiday this summer which I'm looking forward to, it's right at the end of summer. But I would love to go to some more places as travelling is one of my favourite things. I love experiencing new cultures, foods and making lots of memories.

> Enjoying the weather: England has had gorgeous weather recently, but as I've had exams I've been inside most of the day revising so spending time in the sun is something I've been looking forward to.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely month!

Please comment on your goals for the upcoming months.
