December Favourites 2017

Hi, hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you will have a Happy New Year!

I can't believe it already the end of 2018 - meaning time to write my December favourites. I swear I write this at the beginning of every favourite post I write but this year has seemed to have gone mega quickly

Beauty Favourites

I received the Tanya Burr 'A Season To Sparkle' Day Palette this month for my birthday and I have also written a first impression post on it. It's a gorgeous palette - a great everyday palette. The shades are pigmented and the face illuminator gives a lovely glow to the skin.

A lot of gorgeous Christmas collections have come out this month and I was lucky enough to receive the MAC Snowball Pink Pigment and Glitter Kit. The set contains lovely shades - all very pigmented. The lightest shade is a light pink which is gorgeous over the lid, with a burgundy, brown blended into the crease - which is the look I wore on Christmas day.

Nothing better than a gorgeous setting spray to finish your makeup - the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is great for keeping your look stay all day. And it's great to pick up pigments like the MAC ones above.

Other Favourites

December is the time for Vlogmas which is amazing. If you didn't know it when YouTubers vlog every day of December. My favourites are Zoella, Tanya Burr's and PointlessBlogs. It becomes apart of your daily routine to watch them and make you feel festive and comforting to watch after a long day.

My Birthday/Christmas present this year for my mum was the Tiffany Double Heart Necklace - it's gorgeous. And I've literally been wearing it every day since I got it. It's a very me necklace - and the packaging is gorgeous too.

One of my 2018 resolutions is to improve my photography both on my blog and for my scrapbook. So I received the Amir 3 in 1 lenses for my phone - it has a wide lens and a microlens as well as a flashlight. They are all really good quality and  I've been loving trying them this month

Hope you like this post. And as this post is the last of 2017 I want to thank you for everyone's support this year on my blog its been amazing and I very grateful. I can't wait to see what 2018 will bring!!

Happy New Year!!

MAC Snow Ball Pink Pigment and Glitter Kit

I've always loved the look of MAC Christmas collections, but before this year I never had any items from it. Gladly this year my sister got me the Snow Ball Pink Pigment and Glitter Kit.

To start with the packaging is lovely and festive as its rose gold/copper sequins with a cooper bauble/MAC tag on the zip. Which I will probably use as a mini makeup bag in the future as its a great size.

The Pink Pigment and Glitter Kit contain 3 gorgeous shades:

  • Copper Sparkle: Smooth, high-shine copper (Pigment)

  • Pink: Bright Pink (Glitter)

  • Whisper Pink: Soft beigey pink with pearl (Pigment)

The shades are AMAZING - they are pigmented and great formulations. To get the maximum pay off I spray UD setting spray on my eyeshadow brush and pat it on the lid. I also use the Barry M Glitter Glue on the eyelid for the eyeshadow glitter to stay on throughout the day and not crease.

At the moment I love the look of Whisper Pink on the lid with a burgundy and brown shades in the crease. It's an easy glittery festive look for daytime and nights out.

The packaging is really cute and its good quality, which is great as its loose pigments and glitters so the product doesn't go everywhere in your makeup bag.

I would highly recommend this festive pigment and glitter set as its gorgeous. And I hope you like this post.

This is also my last post before Christmas so I hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

First Impressions: Tanya Burr A Season To Sparkle, Day Palette

It was my birthday last week which is why I've been quiet, but I was lucky to receive Tanya's palette from her Christmas collection. So I wanted to share my first impressions - in case anyone wants to get it for someone for Christmas.

For a start, the packaging is gorgeous - from the first Christmas collection to this collection, there has been a huge improvement. And there is a lovely big mirror which is amazing.

The palette contains:
1 liquid illuminator
3 eyeshadows - vanilla pod, honey truffle and toasted coconut
1 cream eyeshadow - champagne party
1 lip gloss - sweet sundae

The liquid illuminator is lovely as a base as well as mixing it with your foundation. It adds a lovely healthy glow to the skin. I also used it was a base for highlight which is very pretty.

The 3 eyeshadows are lovely and pigmented I used toasted coconut as a crease shade, hiney truffle on the lid and vanilla pod as an inner corner highlighter. Then use the cream eyeshadow as a brow highlighter. This creates a lovely day eye look - perfect for every day.

The lipgloss - sweet sundae is a lovely nude lip. Great for every day - but itself as well as on top of a lipstick.

Overall I would highly recommend this palette - gorgeous shades and great for every day.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely Monday.

My Favourite 10 Beauty Products Of 2017

Hi chappes,

As it's coming up to the end of 2017 I really like to look back at the beauty products I have loved most over the year. So I wanted to share my favourite 10 products.

My go-to palette for every day as well as travelling is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. It has a range of gorgeous shades - lots of brown shades for the crease and lid shades. And the palette has a lovely highlighter.

A lovely bronzer for my pale skin is the Hoola Lite Bronzer - a great shade for contouring and bronzing. The original Hoola was too dark and orange for me but this bronzer is so much better for me.

I've been looking for an amazing drugstore eyeliner and the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Flick Eyeliner is AMAZING!!! The formulation is so pigmented - it's a proper intense black, which is perfect for winged eyeliner.

Probably my favourite mascara this year is the L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascarait adds intense volume and lengthen lashes. Perfect for every day as well as more dramatic lashes. And the packaging is gorgeous.

This year I wanted to take more care in doing my brows so I've been reaching for my 'Tanya Burr's Cosmetic Brow Perfect Brow Palette'. It's a lovely travel brow palette with 4 shades, a brush and tweezers. I usually mix the lightest and darkest shade together which I think is the perfect shade for me.

A great eyeshadow base is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme de Nude, it helps keep my eyeshadow on all day and not crease

My favourite spring/summer season lipstick YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in 47 as its super moisturising lipstick. It has a lovely soft shine finish, and it's something subtle. And a glossy lip doesn't dry out your lips in the sun.

I love the formulation of the NYX lipsticks - my favourite one is the NYX Lip Lingerie in 'Bedtime Flirt', lovely pink colour and long wearing.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipstick in Pink Cocoa has probably been my most worn lipstick of 2017. Its a gorgeous pink nude great for every day as well as evening looks. Lovely formulation and pigmentations

This year I found an old favourite the Rimmel Lasting Finish  Foundation - great full coverage formulation. Gorgeous finish and shade match.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely day.

November Favourites 2017

Hi chappes,

As it is coming up to the end of November it means it time to write my November Favourite. But more exciting is that December starts in 2 days!!!!!! And I've just realised that I didn't write my October Favourite so this will include a few more products then usually.

Beauty Favourites

I never usually use a primer but this past month I have loved the Wonderland Studio Finish Primer, it creates a great base for my foundation as it makes your skin feel really smooth. I have noticed the longevity of my foundation when I use this primer, it's stayed longer especially on areas when sometimes my makeup goes come off during the day so my chin and sometimes the tip of my nose. I have also noticed that fine lines that makeup usually show up disappear with this primer.

At the moment I've been loving mixing the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, a lovely buildable coverage foundation which feels so light on the skin. And the Garnier BB cream in Light - together create a gorgeous glow on the skin as well as lovely coverage and actually a better colour match.

I always have a winged eyeliner and my favourite is the Tanya Burr Selfie Flick Eyeliner. To create a thin line along the lash line and a small wing. The formulation os this eyeliner is so pigmented and black. My favourite mascara is the  Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara - lovely everyday dramatic mascara.

Other Favourites

This is probably one of my favourite show which is I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here - it's on every day for 3 weeks. And celebrities complete challenge, my favourite for this series is Toff form Made in Chelsea.

Little Mix Platinum Edition Songs -
Little Mix is my favourite girl group and I have loved their music since X Factor. I love their Glory Days CD and they have just released some new songs which I love especially Reggaetón Lento.

Hope you like this post.
