Savouring Memories - Scrapbooking and Printiki*

Keeping memories and saving memories has always been one of my favourite things - I'm a sentimental person. So when the lovely people at Printiki reached out and offered me 30 photos complimentary I couldn’t refuse.

I love photo album but I think scrapbooking is so much more personal to you as you can add stickers, words, different sort of paper as well as adding tickets etc. I got my scrapbook from Paperchase as they have a great selection but you can also use any notebook you have.

There are many ways you can print your photos for your scrapbook for example Boots or Phtotobox. But Printiki is so easy to use, you can upload pictures straight from your computer, a memory stick and even directly from Instagram, you can choose traditional photo size or go for square like I have you can customise the border and order a variety of different style of photo's straight from your laptop or phone.

If you fancy printing some photos with Printiki I do have a code for free shipping which is FJ6JTDC3

Hope you like this post.

Please comment if you like to scrapbook and please follow as well.

Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray

Over the festive season, I was lucky enough to receive this makeup lifesaver - the Urban Decay Setting Spray.

Urban Decay is one of my favourite makeup brands and I have previously owned a mini version of the setting spray but now I've got the normal size, new packaging one and it's AMAZING!!

I love this spray as its so versatile - I love to apply pigments with it as well as setting my makeup.
At the moment its so good at applying after your skin looks a bit cakey and or your foundation is sticking to some dry patches. I spray this on my face and my skin looks flawless and not cakey - LIFESAVER!!!

The new packaging is also gorgeous as its a  black soft-touch bottle with a purple sprayer and a frosted white cap. This looks great on your makeup table.
The only downside I think of the spray is the smell when you first spray it - its quite chemically but it very quickly goes. So one very, very small downside!

The texture of the spray is gorgeous too - its so microfine so doesn't leave annoying white marks on your face when you haven't shaken the setting spray enough.

I would highly recommend this setting spray to anyone. I hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely weekend.

My Favourite 10 Dresses From The NTAs

Since I started my blog I have written fashion posts on my favourite outfits from events like the BAFTAs, Oscars and today the NTA. Last night was the National Television Awards so in today's post, I wanted to share some of my favourite dresses. And it would be amazing if you can comment your favourite dress.

Jess Wright showed at her toned midriff in a quirky embellished crop top and maxi skirt combo.

Ferne McCann wore a nude satin number, which cut completely open at the back, barring a diamanté strap.

Maya Jama dazzled in a pale pink number, complete with a feathered skirt. This is probably one of my favourite dresses.

Mollie King wore elegant self in a green tulle gown, which saucily teased at her braless frame with its semi-sheer lattice bodice

Tess Daly wore a lovely black dress, with a high leg split. As well as showing one shoulder and a choker detail.

Holly Willoughby wore a gorgeous yellow and blue pleats, pulled into a feminine one-shouldered neckline, before cinching in at her slim waist and cascading into a full tulle skirt to the floor.

Georgia Toffolo wore a gorgeous pastel pink gown, complete with statement ruffled skirt.

Olivia Attwood showed off her famously leggy figure in a strapless blue gown, complete with a daring thigh-high split.

Christine Lampard wore lovely  slinky silver gown, adorned all over with glittering sequins.

Katie Price wore an amazing backless black fishtail gown, personally, I don't the biggest fan of fishtail dresses but this one is gorgeous.

Hope you like this post.

Struggling To Stay Motivated Blogging?

I do have to admit I've been struggling with my blog recently - staying motivated and creating new posts. I've nearly been blogging for 2 years and at the moment my page views lower than usual and I've been questioning what I'm doing wrong with my blog as I feel like I'm not progressing.

So in today's post, I wanted to share a few things I do to stay motivated whilst blogging and enjoy it.

Don't compare yourself to other bloggers

This is something I have really been struggling with over the last 2 years. As I've never been the blogger who works with lots of brands and constantly gets emails or blogger mail. I know that's not what blogging is about but it would be nice to feel like my blog is good enough to work with brands that I love. So over the last few months, I have learnt don't to concentrate on that and just enjoy your blog and whatever happens happens. And enjoy creating content you love. Similarly, peoples socials and blogs grow at different speeds and DONT WORRY ABOUT NUMBERS!!! Whether its 100 or 100k those people have chosen to follow you.

Write Content You Like to Read

If you can't think what to write, write the posts you like to read or write posts on products to like to use. In the past, I have been inspired to write a similar post to ones I've read.

Take Small Breaks

Small breaks to get back creativity is fine - I've had small breaks and I feel so much more motivated when I return to blogging. As I have new ideas - for Christmas I got a Blogger Journal from Paperchase. The Journal is really useful to write ideas and list post ideas and products I would love to try.

Hope you like this post. Sorry if this post is a bit of a ramble and I hope other bloggers understand. Please comment any other tips you've got to stay motivated blogging and please follow.

Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara

Hi! I love Maybelline mascaras - they are some of my favourites out of the drugstore especially the Lash Sensational range. So when I saw there was a new mascara I had to pick it up - the
Maybelline Temptation Mascara.

The packaging is really cute being pink and black (which is very me!), one downside it is quite big and chunky in my makeup drawer.

The mascara is enriched with coconut so it makes your lashes feel nice, soft and conditioned.  The formula is super black, it applies on easily and can be layered for more or less impact. So great for everyday lashes as well as evening looks. And the formula does add length as well as volume without being clumpy which I always look for in a mascara.

Over the course of a day, it never flaked or smudged. And it was pretty easy to remove with makeup remover. Overall I would highly reomcmnd this mascara if you are looking for a new mascara as well as the rest of the Maybelline mascara range.

Hope you like this post.

Max Factor Cappuccino Nudes Eyeshadow Palette

For a while, I've been looking for a nice compact eyeshadow palette for travelling as I love my Urban Decay and Too Faced palette but they can be sometimes too big for a small makeup.  And for my birthday, I was lucky enough to receive the Max Factor Cappuccino Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. Which is lovely and compact with neutral shades.

The palette has eight shades in total with a mixture of mattes and shimmer which means you can use one palette to create a stunning look.
 The palette contains:
White shimmer shade (great for highlighter)
Cream matte shade (nice powder to set eye bases)
Pink Shimmer (gorgeous over the lid)
Matte Light Brown (transition shade)
Shimmer Brown Shade (lid shade)
Deeper Matte Brown Shade (crease/outer corner)
Bronzy Deep Brown (smokey, bronzey shade)
Dark Brown/Black (outer corner/ lash line)

The palette includes a dual-tip applicator which I don't really use as I prefer my eye brushes. But its okay on the go, especially if you retouch the lid colour.

The pigmentation and formulation are really nice - it's very good for drugstore especially the matte shades. The shimmer shades are pigmented but not as good as high end but still good.

Overall I would highly recommend this palette if you are looking for a nice travel eye palette.

Hope you like this post and hope you have a lovely week.

Charlotte Tilbury 'English Beauty' Lipstick

Hi! It feels ages since I wrote a new post but its only been 10 days, I had some school exams which took a lot of time - revising, tutoring etc..  So I want to thank you for your patience over this time and I finished them tommorrow so I will have slightly more time to write my blog.

So I wanted to write about a new lipstick purchase I made which was the Charlotte Tilbury 'English Beauty' lipstick. This was a Christmas present to myself as its slightly more expensive lipstick at £24 as well as I love CT lipstick and this colour looked gorgeous as well as it is limited edition.  And some of you may know I love London and everything to do with London so...

Firstly the packaging of the lipstick is STUNNING!! The box it came in as well as the actual lipstick, I know one CT lipstick already 'Kidman Kiss' so now they look perfect together on my top of my makeup drawers.

The 'English Beauty' is a pinky nude and very close to my actual lip colour - so its now going to be my  your-lips-but-better shade. It has the 'Matte Revolution' formulation - the formula has soothing orchid help to soften, protect and hydrate your lips. Which is great for a matte lipstick so it's not drying at all, and as it matte its longer wearing.

Overall I would highly recommend the CT 'English Beauty' lipstick as well as all of the other CT lipsticks.

Hope you like this post and I so glad you be back blogging again.

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018...

This is my first post of 2018 so Happy New Year!!!

In this post, I wanted to reflect on 2017 and share my new year's resolutions for 2018.

2017

Like most years this past year has had it up and downs - globally and personally.

So I wanted to share my 5 top memories of this year;

1. My family holiday this year
2. For 18th birthday I had a surprise trip to London to see the Christmas lights, went to Tiffany's and saw Dreamgirl
3. My Blog as I love writing new posts, talking to new people, trying to improve my blogging photos as well as seeing people reading and commenting on my post.
4. I love being with my friends whether that's days out or parties, as it's our last year of school together before university.

5. I just love Christmas! Being with family as well as the run-up to Christmas - Vlogmas and Christmas TV.

2018

My New Years Resolutions for 2018 are :

1. Exercise More - I would love to be in a routine again and lose weight. And get more toned for the summer.

2. Eat Healthily - as Christmas time has meant there have been quite a lot of chocolates and lots of food. So I want to get into a good eating routine and trying to eat healthier - with some veggie days etc.

3. Gain more confidence - I've also been a rather a shy person and my self-confidence isn't the best - its getting better but stll not very good. So I would love to gain more confidence - I don't know how but I would love too.

4. Work Hard - this year is a big year for year in my education. As I'm doing my A-levels to get in the university I would love to go to.

5. Carry on and enjoy blogging - I love blogging so I would love to carry on and enjoy blogging. I would also love to reach over 1000 in each of my socials - so it would be amazing if you followed 😉

Hope you like this post

Please comment your New Years Resolutions and follow.
