5 Budget Beauty Finds

There is nothing better than finding a gorgous beauty product which is afforbale and this time last year I posted 'My Top 5 Budget Beauty Products'. So I wanted to write an updated version sharing my 5 Budget Beauty Finds that you can probably find in most drugstore.

1. My go to mascaras are the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascaras - the original as well as the luscious. They add volume, lengthen as well as separates lashes so great for everyday and bulids up for evenings/nights. It also doesnt flake or transfer onto your eyelid or under your cirle as its so annoying when it looks like you have a black eye due to tranfer mascara.

2. I have mentioned Max Factor Cappuccino Nudes Eyeshadow Palette a few times on my blog recently I do think its the best drugstore palette I've tried. Great pigmnetation - crease and lid shades, and nice formalution so you can bulid eyeshadow looks.

3. My favourite bases/ quick lid shades are the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows. I own 3 'Creme Beige' which I use everyday as a base for my eyeshadow, 'On and On Bronze' and 'Pink Gold' are both gorgeous pigmneted shades are the lid. Perfect for simple eye looks as well as bases for pigments and other eye shadows.

4. My favourite eyeliner is the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Flick Eyeliner - I love that its so easy to use which is great for an eyeliner especially to create a thin line on the lash line as well as flick. The formulation is also really nice and pigmneted.

5. Liquid Lipsticks have been very popular over the past few years and the best budget find is NYX Liquid Lipsticks. I love the formualtion and the pigmentation of the Lip Lingeries as well as the Soft Matte Creams. The formulation is also long wearing and doesnt transfer.

I hope you like this post and you like this items I have chosen.

Please comment your favourite drugstore products and follow.

February Favourites 2018

I love writing my monthly favourites as it's a great time to reflect on the products and items I have loved over the last month. As well as seeing how my favourite changes month to month and then year by year. So today I wanted to about my favourite from this past month - February.

Beauty Favourites

Surpisely to me I have been loving more 'natural' makeup looks and my most reached for lid shade on these days is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Rose Gold. It's also a gorgeous base for powder eyeshadows on top. I think this shades will gorgeous in the summer with a slight tan.

Lush is one of my favourite shops and pamper shops and recently I purchased the Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub - honestly, I can see a change in the application of lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. It also tastes really nice ;)

For about 5 months I've been meaning to repurchase my ultimate fave mascara the L'Oreal Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara. This is probably the best mascara I have ever tried - the mascara lengths and adds volume.

My go-to palette this month was the Max Factor Cappuccino Nude Palette - gorgeous buildable pigmented shades. Perfect for every day as it has a great transition and crease shades as well as lid shades.

Other Favourites

I can't believe I forgot to mention this in my January Favourites but I've been obsessed with The Greatest Showman - the movie as well as the songs. The songs have been on repeat for the last 2 months and literally know all the words to the songs. My favourites songs are 'This is Me', 'From Now On' and 'Million Years' (please comment your favourite song?)

One of my new year's resolutions this year was to lose weight and become healthier. So I've been loving watching Extreme Weight Loss showing that people can turn there lived around as well as getting tips/recipes that I can use in everyday life.

I'm one of those people who likes to revise/work with music in the background so my go to has been Sam Smith's Spotify playlist. His songs are so good and his voice is amazing! His latest album is great too especially 'Too Good At GoodByes"

I hope you like this post.

My Everyday Makeup Routine February 2018

Every month I love to change up my makeup bag and try products I have used in a while as well as new products. So in todays post I wanted to write a realistic everyday makeup routine. And I have also written it in the order I do my makeup.

Skincare

I've recently written a post on my skincare, but I always start with the Nivea Dialy Essential Day Cream and the Simple Eye Cream to create the perfect base.

Brows

To fill in my brows I use the Tanya Burr Perfect Brow Palette to create the shape. Lovely pigmented palette - great for travel too. And the formulation keeps my brows in place all day. This is my consitient favourite brow palette and defintely need a new one soon as I've hit pan!

Eyes

As a eye base I use the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme Beige which is a lovely pigmented nude shade to cover as decolorisation on the lid. And is a great base for the eyeshadows.
My eyeshadow palette I reach for in the Max Factor Cappuccino Nude Palette - gorgeous buildable pigmented shades. I either chose a pink   toned eye or a brown smokey eye. And for the first time in 3 years I don't wear a winged eyeliner everyday - which I thing is amazing for me!! But if I do I use  Tanya Burr Selfie Flick Eyeliner, to create a thin line along the lash line and a small wing. For mascara I use a combo of the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara and the Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara to create long and volumorious lashes. Which is perfect for everyday as well as evening looks.
Finally as my inner corner highlight I use the KIKO Smart Eyeshadow 01,which is very pigmented and I believe brings the look together.

Face

My foundation combo at the moment is a mixture of the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation and Garnier BB Cream, a lovely coverage foundation which feel so light on the skin. To cover any decolorisation and blemishes I love the Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer. To set my face I use Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to keep my makeup on all day. Annoying it broke just before taking the photos therefore its not in the photos.
To bronze my skin I love Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer on the cheeks to contour as well as bronzing.
To add some glow back to the skin, I add Seventeen Shimmer Brick to the top of my cheekbones, my cupids-bow and tip of the nose.

Lips

For a base I use the EOS pink lip balm, and my go to lipstick is Charlotte Tilbury English Beauty. Gorgeous nude lipstick - perfect for everyday.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely week.

Natural World Coconut Water Range

I am always on a lookout for great hair care products, whether it's oils, shampoos or conditioner. A product that gives you shine and hydration for my thick, frizzy, curly, long air is no doubt a seller in my eyes.I was kindly contacted by Brodie & Stone / Natural World to test and review some of their hair care products and they kindly want to send me their Coconut Water range.

Natural World Coconut Water is infused with certified organic Coconut extract - it provides lightweight hydration and luscious shine to the hair. It leaves my hair beautifully soft and shiny - probably the softest my hair has been a while.

The coconut water is ideal for anyone who is looking to hydrate dull looking, frizzy hair.

The shampoo & conditioner comes in 500ml bottle as well as 1 litre bottles. I wash my hair every other day (as its thick I dont need to washed it every other day but I do wash everyday) and I've only used a fraction of the products. After doing my usual shampoo and conditioning, I add a few drops of the Coconut Water Weightless Hair Oil and massage on to my ends for approx' 10-20 seconds. I usually leave my hair to air dry to prevent my hair to become a puffball, sometimes I hairdry it to prevent it form dripping everywhere as I dont want to put too much hair on it.

The coconut water weightless hair oil was the clear winner as it literally does what it says on the bottle - lightweight, hydration and shine. All 3 products most importantly does not leave hair feeling greasy. Even after day 2, my hair still feels so clean and tamed.

I would highly recommend trying this hair range - its amazing for everyone with dry hair.

Hope you like this post.

What's In My Bag February 2018

Hello! Hope you are okay and have had a lovely week. Today I wanted to share whats in my bag as I love reading these sorts of posts.

I’ve recently purchased a new bag which is the Tokyo bag*, it's cutest and also has a classy style to it, this little black shoulder bag is from Boutique Of Molly (@boutiqueofmollyuk) and retails at £30. I thought this bag was also a really good dupe for the Mulberry Lily Bag.

The bag is really nice quality and fits everything I need in it. If you want 20% Boutique of Molly please use my code with is SARAHC20. The website has some lovely dupes of bags as well as clothing.

I have to take my phone out everywhere with me - I have the iPhone 5s. Which I think is a nice size for a phone and fits in every bag. The camera is really nice and has everything you need.

I got a new purse for Christmas which was the Asos Coin Purse with Tassle, which is a great size as it has card slots either side as well as a zip for cash.

I always have to take a mini makeup bag which I move from my school bag to this bag.
In this mini bag I have:
Zoella Wonder Hand Cream
Bath and Body Works Thousand Wishes Hand Sanitaster
Mini Nail File
Mini Mirror
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Lipstick of that day (today was the YSL Rouge Volupte 47)

I hope you like this post and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Skincare Routine February 2018

One of my news year resolutions as to improve my skincare routine to make my skin smoother and softer. So over the last new few week I have found a routine that actally works for my skin and made my skin feel better than ever!

Taking my makeup off is definitely my first priority in the evening, especially after a long day. So first I take off my eye makeup (eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara), I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to take off the rest of my face makeup as well.
For a second cleanse, I use the Nivea Refreshing Cleasing Face Wash to make sure my face is all nice and clean. And this face wash also make my skin feel soft and I think has helped me with breakouts.

After cleansing my skin, I use a nice moisturiser so I use the Nivea Daily Essentials Sensitive Night Moisturiser it's a great rich moisturiser. I usually apply a thick layer of this at night, so in the morning my skin definitely looks clearer and softer. I also love that is sinks in really easily and as it's fragrance free which is great for people with sensitive skin. The caring formula enriched with Licorice Extract - known for its anti-inflammatory properties - and precious Grape Seed Oil.
In the morning my skin feels so soft and pump and I apply the Nivea Daily Essential Moisture Boost + Refresh Daily Moisturiser which makes my makeup aplly really nicely. And a gorgeous eye cream is the Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll On, its great a helping tired eyes. And to help dry lips I use the EOS lip balm which is AMAZING!!

Over the last few weeks I  think this routine has helped with my redness and dry patches on my face.

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite skincare products and please follow.
