Testing Wonderland Makeup*

Hi chappes,

I was recently contacted by the lovely people over at Wonderland makeup to try some of their products, and I couldn’t be happier as they have plenty of gorgeous products. As well as Wonderland Makeup is a cruelty-free brand which is trying to create high-end quality products at affordable prices.

It's a gorgeous highly pigmented ultra sparkling dark taupe with a gold glitter. This loose pigment is lovely for this time of the year - great for every day as well as darker night looks. It does have a tiny bit of fallout but to make the least amount go fallout I spray setting spray on my makeup brush
The packaging is very nice and the extra pop up lid inside makes its hard for any product falling out and going everywhere.

STUDIO FINISH PRIMER*

Honestly, this is probably my favourite product out of the 3 - it's an amazing primer. It creates a great base for my foundation as it makes your skin feel really smooth. I have noticed the longevity of my foundation when I use this primer, it's stayed longer especially on areas when sometimes my makeup goes come off during the day so my chin and sometimes the tip of my nose. I have also noticed that fine lines that makeup usually show up disappear with this primer. And this primer would be great for people with oily skin as its oily free.
The packaging reminds me a bit of the Smashbox Photo Finish primer but I still think is lovely. It fits really easily into your makeup and feels very luxurious.

CHEEKY BLUSH*

I'm not usually a blush fan but this is a gorgeous natural blush. It is very pigmented so I only use a tiny amount on the apple of my cheeks. The formulation is ultra fine so it's really blend-able and leaves a matte finish.

I would highly recommend trying Wonderland makeup - products areas great quality for the price.

Autumnal Clothing Haul October 2017

Hi chappes,

I haven't done a fashion post in ages and I love writing and reading fashion post so today I wanted to write a collective autumnal haul on some of the clothes I have brought.

New Look
New Look has some really nice stuff in it at the moment. Red seems to be popular this season so I picked up Red Drop Arm Cropped Jumper, it's a gorgeous jumper - lovely and warm. I do love a scalloped t-shirt so I picked up the Rust Scallop Hem T-Shirt    - gorgeous colour and makes me feel very autumnal. I've been looking for a tan/camel coat for ages and I saw this Tan Faux Fur Shearling Biker Jacket. It's a lovely warm jacket - perfect for the upcoming winter season.

Boohoo
Boohoo is one of my favourite online stores. I've got quite into dresses this year and jumpers are probably my favourite thing. So I really wanted a jumper dress this season - Maria Soft Knit Jumper Dress is a gorgeous jumper dress. And I love camel, especially in winter/autumnal time. A new colour for me is khaki - I already bought a jumper in khaki but I wanted a nice t-shirt. So I found this Eliza Rib Oversized Tee - lovely fit and colour.

Miss Selfridge
I've been really liking Miss Selfridge at the moment - they have some gorgeous items. But I actually only got a pair of black high waisted jeans - gorgeous fit and colour.

Jack Wills
To be honest, it's not very autumnal - but I bought Angelica Lace Tee which is the Jack Wils sale. A lovely top which is quite self-portrait which I love and it will be a nice layering top.

I hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite colours in autumn and please follow.

My Everyday Brow Routine October 2017

Hi chappes,

Happy Monday!!! Since I got rid of my fringe in April I've had to spend time doing my brows every day. In this time I've got to try new products and now I've got a routine which keeps my brows in place all day.

Firstly I use my trusty Tanya Burr Cosmetic Perfect Brow Palette, this is an amazing palette for beginners in brows. I use the small angled brush in the palette to mix the shades 'Pebble' and 'Hot Cocoa' which seems to be my perfect brow shade. I start with the arch and the tip so it's more defined. Then which the left over product on my brush I do the front of my brow - for more of an ombre brow look.
If I want to add more product to the brows at the front I use a Seventeen brow pencil and apply it lightly. Then with the spoolie on the lid, I brush through my brows to make sure they aren't too dark and so they are in the right shape.
To keep them in the right shape I apply the Benefit Ready, Set, Brow Gel which is a clear gel which keeps my brows on all day.
To neaten them I apply the concealer I use that day on a Real Techniques Pointed Concealer Brush which is great at craving brows.

Then for my brow highlight, I use the Kiko 01 Eyeshadow which is a white highlighter and a gorgeous brow highlighter for every day.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely Monday.

My 3 Favourites Moisturisers To Take Into Fall

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to share 'My 3 Favourites Moisturisers To Take Into Fall' as I have dry, combination skin so a good moisturiser is key for me especially in fall/winter time.

L'Oreal Hydra Genius Liquid Moisturiser -
The moisturiser promises to lock in moisture for 72hrs. And the cream is enriched with Aloe Water & Hyaluronic Acid which instantly refreshes the skin. And hyaluronic acid helps to maintain moisture levels in your skin and this ingredient is usually in really expensive skincare e.g. the Lancome so its amazing its in this moisturiser which is so affordable. The formula is really easy to sink into the skin. This is an amazing base for your makeup - it makes your makeup look flawless!!

Lancôme 'Visionnaire' advanced multi correcting rich cream - its  a multi correcting cream with a combination of lr2412 and hyaluronic acid. Ir2412 is a molecule designed to penetrate throughout all the layers of the skin’s epidermis.  The cream is a fresh and hydrating on the a skin Your skins feels smoother and is plump. Lovely moisturiser for everyday and gorgeous makeup base.

Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil-Free Moisturiser - is a great rich moisturiser and has really helped prevent spots. I usually apply a thick layer of this at night. So in the morning my skin definitely looks clearer and softer. I also love that is sinks in really easily and as it's fragrance free which is great for people with sensitive skin.

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite moisturisers and follow.

Whats In My October Makeup Bag

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to share whats in my October makeup bag as I haven't written one of these for a while and I love writing them. And my makeup has changed as its autumn.

Face

To create a smooth hydrated base I start with the L'Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturiser. My foundation at the moment is the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, a lovely buildable coverage foundation which feel so light on the skin. To cover any decolorisation and blemishes I love the Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer and Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer. To set my face I use Rimmel Ista Fix and Matte Powder (which annoying broke this morning) and  Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to keep my makeup on all day.
To bronze my skin I love Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer on the cheeks to contour as well as bronzing.
To add some glow back to the skin, I add Tanya Burr 'Forever Summer' Highlighter to the top of my cheekbones, my cupids-bow and tip of the nose.

Brows

To fill in my brows I use the Tanya Burr Perfect Brow Palette to create the shape. Lovely pigmented palette - great for travel too. And the formulation keeps my brows in place all day.

Eyes

As a eye base I use the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme Beige which is a lovely pigmented nude shade to cover as decolorisation on the lid. And is a great base for the eyeshadows. I love the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - its a lovely pigmented autumnal/everyday palette. My favourite shades are 'Tease' and 'Chopper'.I always have a winged eyeliner and my top choice at the moment is the Tanya Burr Selfie Flick Eyeliner. To create a thin line along the lash line and a small wing. The formulation os this eyeliner is so pigmented and black. My favourite mascara is the  Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara - lovely everyday dramatic mascara. Great formulation - create long and volumed lashes.
Finally as my inner corner highlight I use the KIKO Smart Eyeshadow 01,which is very pigmented and I believe brings the look together.

Lips

I prefer a darker nude in autumn/ winter time so I love Maybelline Rosewood Lipstick - gorgeous formulation and pigmentation.  And a nice finish on the lips.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely week.

Please comment your favourite autumnal looks and please follow.

Bloggers in the Media

Hi chappes,

Bloggers in the media, it's amazing to think so many people are managing to build lives and careers on blogging and vlogging, years of hard work.
So many of these YouTubers/bloggers have inspired me to create this blog and I am so grateful to them as I love blog.

Over the last few years, bloggers/vloggers have started to appear in mainstream media - covers of magazines. As well as a blogging magazine for bloggers - the Blogosphere Magazine which I would highly recommend.

The 4 main bloggers/YouTubers who inspire me have all been in magazines. Those 4 are Zoe Sugg, Tanya Burr, Louise Pentland and Victoria (InTheFrow).

Zoe Sugg (Zoella) has been so successful in the last few years - on the cover or Cosmopolitan, probably my favourite fashion magazine, as well as so many more.
Tanya Burr was on the cover of Glamour magazine December 2015, Louise Pentland and Victoria have both been on the cover of the Blogosphere Magazine. And Victoria has written an article in this month's Cosmopolitan Magazine.

These vloggers/bloggers can inspire and give advice to the youth and show what you can do with dedication and worked hard. As they would have worked hours on a vlog, a blog post as well as books.

What inspired me to write this post was, I feel like Mental Health has been talked so much more recently and especially from the online community. Zoe has been a key part of this - showed that you aren't alone with mental health and you can ask for help.
We have also got lots more beauty and fashion tips which can guidance girls through their teenage years. As well as reviewing products so you know what the best products on the market are.

Bloggers and vloggers are changing and society is changing and moving forward.

What do you think of bloggers and vloggers? And are you influenced by them?

Hope you like this post.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Breathable Concealer

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to write about another new product that I've been trying lately. The 'Rimmel London Lasting Finish Breathable Concealer'.

I was looking for a new concealer as my Collection Lasting Perfection was running out - all 5 of them I have.
There was an offer on Rimmel products at Boots so I picked up my foundation then I saw this new concealer so I picked it up. As I love trying new products and I haven't tried a new concealer for a while as I love my Collection one.

The concealer has a medium coverage which is great for hiding imperfections as well as covering under eye circles.

The applicator is slightly weird it's a cushion applicator which is great as disrupting the product on your face. Not the best at blending so I finish it with my complexion sponge. But the sponge is good at any touch ups over blemishes that wouldnt there when you put your makeup on etc.

I have found it creases slightly under the eye but I may not be setting in it correctly with enought powder.

But overall I really like this concealer - it covers and the formuation is really long wearing. Highly recommend - love to try the rest of the new Rimmel range.

Hope you like this post and have a lovely day.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Story Mascara and Eyeliner Review

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to write about 2 of the 3 items in Tanya Burr Cosmetic new 'Selfie Story' collection. Honestly, I have been waiting for this mascara for over a year - since she mentioned it in a vlog so I was so excited to try when it came out. Well, I'm excited about every product launch but especially this one.

Tanya Burr Selfie Story Lash Mascara

This mascara is really nice, perfect for every day and buildable to create a more dramatic night look. The applicator is amazing as it grabs every lash - lengthens and volumises them without being clumpy. The formulation is long wearing and doesn't transfer throughout the day.
This mascara is definitely in line with some of my favourite mascaras - L'Oreal Lash Paradise and Maybelline Lash Sensational.

Tanya Burr Selfie Story Flick Eyeliner

OH MY GOSH! This is formulation is so pigmented - it's a proper intense black, which is perfect for winged eyeliner. The brush is so easy to use and so easy to create accurate wings as well as a thin line on the lash line. The formulation is also lovely and long wearing and doesn't smudge which is perfect for every day.
It's so affordable at only £4.99.

The packaging is lovely for both of the products, it's gold with a black scalloped trim on the join between the lid of the tube. It also feels really luxe and is perfect additions to my makeup collection.

It also excites me that I can nearly create a full Tanya Burr Cosmetic face - just foundation, concealer and powder to go ;)

I would highly recommend this two products - so affordable and amazing quality. To be honest I would recommend the whole Tanya Burr Cosmetic range - I'm not just saying that as Tanya is one of my role models. But because the products are great quality, so affordable and lovely packaging.

Hope you like this post.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm

Hi chappes,

In my last post, I wrote about the 'Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm' and realised a never written a post about it before. So today I wanted to write a full review.

In autumn/winter my lips get especially dry and 'Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Original Ultra Moisturizing Tinted Lip Balm' is a lifesaver and so affordable. The lip balm is enriched with Vitamin E and with the added benefit of SPF 15 which means you its all year round. As the added SPF is great for summer and the enriched Vitamin E moisturises the lips and nourishes them.

I have noticed that my lipstick application has improved since using this lip balm. My lips have looked healthy, moisturised since using this lip balm. And matte lipsticks which previously I have felt quite trying - don't as much.

Overall I would highly recommend this lip balm - it will be a lifesaver in the next few months. And so affordable - only £2.

Hope you like this post.
