Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows Review

Hi chappes,

Sorry for not posting for the last few days unfortunately I was at a place with no wifi and at the majority of the time no phone signal.

But for todays post I wanted to write reviews on two of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow - 'Creme de Nude' and 'On and on Bronze'

                       

I love these eyeshadows ! 

Creme de Nude is a matte base colour which is perfect for correcting any discolourations on the eye. And it doesn't crease so creates long lasting eye looks. 

On and on Bronze is a gorgeous bronze gold shade which if you put all over the lid and you are done. Its a lovely bronze colour and great for my green eyes.

I also love the packaging as they show the colour on the lid however they are quite bulky and big. But there is soo much product so would last for ages.

Rimmel Lip Liner in 'Eastend Snob'

Hi chappes,

Today i wanted to write a review on my first lip liner i have ever brought which is the Rimmel Lip liner in 'Eastend Snob'

I love the formala of the liners they are quite creamy-not drying. Its easy to apply and its long wearing.

Its a pinky nude colour which goes perfect with the majority of my lipstick collection. As you have read my blog before you would probably know i love a nude lip. This goes perfect under matte lips as well like Tanya Burr 'Martha Moo'. 'Eastend Snob' and "martha Moo' are exactly very similar colours.

I can't wait to try the more lip liners and more from the Rimmel. Please comment your favourite lip liner as I would love some recommendations.

Benefit 'Gimmie Brow' Review

Hi chappes,

I've seemed to be collecting the whole Benefit Brow Collection from magazines as I have previously got Goof Proof and Ready, Set, Brow. But in this post and magazine I got Gimmie Brow from the latest Glamour magazine.

I do love Glamour magazine so its not like i bought the magazine just because of the freebie. And its only £2!!!!

I love the packaging - I have written this about all the Benefit brow products. But i love that all the brow products look quite similar.

The brow product comes in two shades 2 and 5, i picked 5 as I'm a brunette. It adds a slight bit of colour but still leaves a natural brow. And it keeps your brows in place throughout the day.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a brow gel and its soo good.

As you can see my Benefit brow collection is slowly going. Hopefully in the future i will own the whole collection and preferably in my shade.

Tanya Burr Soft Luxe Matte Lip in 'Martha Moo'

Hi chappes,

Tanya recently released some new collection called the Soft Luxe Collection and i recently purchased 'Martha Moo' matte lip.

If you saw my new in makeup wishlist post you would have seen i  wanted to try an item from her collection. And today i did!

I love the packaging from the range its basically a matte version of the original lip gloss collection. But as its matte it feels more expensive and nicer.

Martha Moo is the nude in the collection and its gorgeous. Its quite a dark nude but its perfect for summer. 
I been loving matte lips as well and its in trend at the moment. And this one isn't drying at all which is amazing!! The formula is so good, its so pigmented and long-lasting. I would highly recommend it  !

What's In My Flight Bag 2016

Hi chappes,

I wanted to share what i will put in my flight bag. I have just realised that this is quite/very similar to my travel essential but there are some slightly different items

My travel bag was actually my school bag.But its a Linea City Tote bag http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Linea+City+tote+handbag/235302609,default,pd.html this is not the same bag not something very very similar.

In my bag i have:

 My iPhone

Earphones- great for listening to music or Tv screens on long flights

Suncream - no one wants to be burnt

Zoella Spray- so i don't smell after the flight

Purse - duty free

Book/Magazine- amazing for short flights

Power bank- incase my battery runs out.

Zoella hand cream - i get really dry hands on planes probably due to air con

Makeup bag- for small touch ups

All my liquids are under 100ml as you aren't allowed any liquids over that amount.

Rimmel Kate Moss 15th Anniversary Collection Lipstick in Rock 'N' Roll Nude

Hi chappes,

I recently purchased this lipstick which is part of Kate Moss' 15th Anniversary Collection which is limited edition.

I love the packaging of the whole lipstick range as its rose gold which is an amazing colour. There are 6 lipsticks in the collection with a mixture of nudes and reds.

I brought Rock 'N' Roll lipstick which is a nude pink and it has a kind of satin finish. Its perfect for all skin types which is amazing as i have pale skin and which this lipstick i don't look like a ghost. And this colour is great for summer as its a pinky nude and i love pink. I love the formula of Rimmel lipsticks they are really creamy and pigmented for the price at £6.99.

I would highly recommend this lipstick and go and look at the range at your local boots or super drug.

Tanya Bakes: Book Review

Hi chappes,

Tanya Burr bought out a baking book at the end of June and i love it. I have already written a post which featured a recipe from this book.

                         

The image, the recipes and the front covers are amazing. The front cover is soo cute and the binder is similar to her other book Love Tanya. The images of the recipes and Tanya are gorgeous - the quality is so good. The recipes are soo easy to follow and have simple ingredients that you would usually find in the cupboards.

As you can see I got the signed version of the book which is amazing. I am a big fan of Tanya (my cousin always makes fun of me because of it) and she is a inspiration to many girls including me.

The book includes recipes for all occasion so Christmas or Easter as well as recipes like her Triple Chocolate Cookies or her Salted Caramel Cheesecake which you may have seen on This Morning.

Benefit Ready, Set, Brow Review

You may have read that at the beginning of June I reviewed the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil that I got free in the July edition of Elle Magazine, which was part of the huge Benefit's brow product launch which was on the 24th of June where 13 brow products where released. Well Benefit have been at it again and have very kindly released another freebie, this time it's a deluxe size sample of their Ready, Set, Brow Gel which is in the August edition of Marie Claire magazine.

The Ready, Set, Brow is a transparent brow gel which shapes & tames brows and locks on makeup so brows don’t disappear. 'The custom-molded, dual-sided wand coats hairs from root to tip and the flexible, flake-free formula is easy to apply and quick to dry!'

I love the packaging of the whole brow range and its quite small soo perfect for travel. Personally i put it over the top of the Goof Proof Pencil to create a natural brow look.

Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspiration Reviews

Zoella released a new beauty range around a month ago and it smells soo good. The range is called 'Sweet Inspiration' and its enriched with almonds, cocoa and honey. 

Bath Latte

The packaging of this is soo cute and it is a milk style bottle with a coppery gold lid.

I have tried this in the bath and the shower - i put in tiny bit into the bath and it created the a lovely smelling bubble bath. It does smell quite vanillary and sweet but not to sickly. 

And in the shower and it makes your skin soo smooth and soft. 

Double Creme


I watched Meg Says video and she recommended the double creme to out on after the bath latte. I love it- it smells soo good! The packaging is soo nice and the stripes reminds me of the Brighton beach huts. The 'Z' on the packaging makes it look very posh and expensive. It makes your skin feel soo soft and smell soo good.

Candy Clutch Beauty Bag

I have been a big fan of Zoella beauty bags and the is no expectation. I thought this would be amazing for travelling as its big but also flat . Meaning I can fit as many lip options or eye options as I would like without worrying about space.


I would love to buy all the range- so slowly but surely I will add more products onto this post.

Custard Cream and Bourbon Biscuits Recipes

I love baking and i recently got Tanya's cookbook 'Tanya Bakes' so i wanted to try a recipe. We didn't have any eggs so i made the custard cream and i don't know why i thought of teatime treats. So i made bourbon biscuit  to go with them. The slate board in the picture was actually from a wedding i went to so i don't know where its from X

Custard Creams

Ingredients

For the Biscuits:

100g butter

50g caster sugar

100g plain flour

50g custard powder

For the filling:

150g icing sugar

 100g butter 

 2 drops of vanilla extract

Method:

1.Preheat your oven to 180C and line your trays with greaseproof paper.

2.Cream together the butter and caster sugar until well combined. Add in the flour and custard powder and mix until it forms a soft dough.

3.Then with a rolling pin roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface at about 1/2cm thick and cut with a knife or square/rectangular shape as big as you want. I followed want Tanya but in her book which was 4x2.5cm 

4. Place into the fridge for about 10 mins so the biscuits keep its shape

5. Then place into the oven for another 10 mins until they’re golden in colour.

6. Leave to cool completely, whilst the biscuits cool mix together the icing sugar, butter and vanilla essence with a drop of milk to form a creamy butter cream for the inside of the biscuits. Once the biscuits are cooled, apply the cream in-between two biscuits and press together.

7. Enjoy!!

Bourbon Biscuits

Ingredients

For the Biscuits:

225g Plain white flour 

125g Butter (unsalted) chilled 

75g Cocoa powder 

125g Unrefined golden caster sugar 

2tbsp Golden syrup 

1tsp Bicarbonate of soda 

3tbsp Milk 

For the filling:

3tbsp Custard powder 

100g Icing sugar 

25g Cocoa powder 

75g Butter (unsalted) softened 

2tsp Milk

Method

 1.Blend together the flour, butter, cocoa powder, sugar, golden syrup, bicarbonate of soda.

2.Gradually add the milk until the mixture forms a dough.

3.Wrap the dough in cling film and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.

4.Unwrap and roll out the dough out to a thickness of 1cm

5.Cut out rectangles approximately 3x8cm and using a skewer make the traditional indents on the top of every other biscuit.

6.Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and chill the biscuits in the fridge for 30 minutes.

7.Preheat the oven to 180°C (160° fan gas mark 4).

8.Bake the biscuits for 20-25 minutes then leave to cool

9.To make the filling, blend together the icing sugar, butter, custard powder and cocoa powder.

10.Once the biscuits are fully cooled, pipe the filling and sandwich the biscuits together.

Golden, Winged Eyeliner Makeup Look

I have been loving wearing a golden winged eyeliner makeup look at the moment. I think most people do like a golden eye in summer please comment if you do. So i wanted to share the products i use to create it

The products i use are:

Naked Palette

Tanya Burr Hollywood Palette

Miss Sporty Waterproof Eyeliner

Rimmel Nude Kohl Pencil

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Benefit Roller Lash

I don't use all the products i either use the Naked Palette or the Tanya Burr Palette and sometimes use both mascaras but usually one or the other. And also one is drugstore and the other high-end.

From the Naked palette i use Half Baked across the whole lid and place Smog and Buck into my case. If i wanted to deepen my crease even more i would add Darkhouse on the outer corner

From the Tanya Burr palette - this palette is amazing for creating this look as it only has gold shades (and a brown!). I put the 'Nude Delight' shade and 'Gold Coin' across the lid. And then 'Enchantment' and 'Bookworm' in the crease. I also tend to place the 'Nude Delight' to set my concealer.

Then i use the Miss Sporty Eyeliner to create the wing- i do find it quite hard to create the perfect wing but it is improving.

I do a thin line by my lash line then i draw a line going up from my lower lash line. Then i meet the top of the wing to the lash line- if it goes wrong i use makeup wipes and then concealer to make the wing neat.

I place the Rimmel nude kohl pencil on my lower lash line to make my eyes look bigger- well i think. Then i finish the look with mascara and Maybelline Lash Sensational and Benefit roller lash are my favourite mascaras.

As you can see i wouldn't need shower gel for a while as I've got all the Zoella shower gels. They smell so good and it was the first Sweet Inspiration product i have smelt and purchased.

Revlon Colourstay is definitely my favourite foundation EVER!!!! so i repurchased it as i had ran out,

I am doing D of E soon so i purchased Lush King of Skin to use after to help me recover.

I have been loving Carrie's channel recently and I'm seeing her in Cardiff in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang soon. So i wanted to purchase her first book and i love it. I am definitely going to read it on holiday.

Is it bad that i got the Maybelline lipstick because of the name "Rosewood' which if you didn't know is the place in PLL.

I have seen that Sleek Matte Me Birthday Suit is supposedly a dupe for Kylie Candy K.(but don't quote me on that)I have been loving matte liquid lipsticks at the moment and this is a great addition.

I love Real Techniques brushes and the powder brush i had was a Wilko one it was soft but not as good quality as Real Techniques. The brush is soo soft.

I had a wedding at the weekend so i purchased this navy dress which i thought was really cute.

As its summer i thought a play suit would be a nice addition to my wardrobe.

I feel in love with the backpack from Topshop, I had a voucher for Topshop at Christmas which i finally spent. I need a backpack for holiday as they are always useful :)
