March Favourites 2018

As the end of March is approaching, I thought I would share a few products that I have been using a lot of this month: beauty and other.

Beauty Favourites

Probably one of my most own eyeshadows is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'On And On Bronze' - I have featured it quite a few times on my blog. It's just a swipe of colour on the lid with some bronzer in the crease is a quick makeup look.

All of bloggers and YouTubers talk about this concealer and I have loved it for a while it's the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (of course!). This month I have started to carve my eyebrows with concealer and I have seen a massive difference.

My two lip favourites this month is Tanya Burr Cosmetics in 'Pink Cocoa' and Sleek Matte Me in 'Shabby Chic'. These are both gorgeous shades - TB Pink Cocoa is probably one of my most favourite lipsticks

My favourite perfume has been the Zara Red Vanilla Perfume - lovely wintery perfume but in the UK its felt very wintery this past month with the cold and snow.

Other Favourites

I do love a detective drama so Sherlock, Death in Paradise; but this month I watched Shakespeare and Hathaway which is a detective/drama which I thought was great!

I love Shawn Mendes music and this past month he released 2 new songs and I LOVE THEM!!! I would highly recommend listening too them.

I hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourites and please follow also.

Hope you have a lovely Easter!

My Top 5 Products From Benefit

Benefit Porefesional Primer was my first high-end makeup purchase, and since then I've tried more of their products. I love basically all the Benefit products I've tried, so in today's post, I wanted to share my 5 favourite Benefit products.

My go-to bronzer is Hoola Lite, gorgeous bronzer for pale skin. Great for every day and build up for more of a night look. The box packaging is really nice, the brush that it comes with is nice too. The shade has cool tones so great at creating a natural shadow on your cheekbone, jaw bones and forehand

The first high-end product I ever bought was the Porefessional Primer, this creates a gorgeous base for your makeup. Covers up any pores as well as smoothing fine lines and improves the longevity of your makeup. The packaging is also really cute.

One of my favourite mascaras is the Roller Lash Mascara, adds volume, length as well as curls lashes. The mascara is also buildable so creates everyday lashes and also creates more dramatic fan eyelashes. The applicator brush is really good - gets every lash.

A lovely everyday lip gloss is the Dandelion Lip Gloss - it's a natural pink lipstick. Great by itself and on top of lipsticks. It's lovely in spring so I will be wearing it a lot in the next few months.

One of my favourite brow products is the Gimme Brow - great for setting your brows in place. And as it has a tint it good by itself for a more natural brow. I also think it's coming back very soon...

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite Benefit products and please follow.

Easter Chocolate Nest Recipe

As its Easter on Sunday I wanted to share my Easter Chocolate Nest recipe - it's such an easy recipe and they are DELICIOUS!!!

This recipe creates 9 large nests but can create many more depending on the case or tin.

Ingredients:
400g Dairy Milk Chocolate
6 Shredded Wheat Biscuits
Mini Eggs

Method:
1. Put cupcake case in a cupcake tin in preparation for later
2.Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water till the chocolate has melted. Take the bowl off the hob.
3. Mix in the shredded wheat biscuit into the chocolate.
4. Spoon the mixture into cupcake case you prepared earlier.
5. Whilst the mixture is still soft place mini eggs in the centre to create a 'nest shape'
6. Place them in the fridge to set.
7.Enjoy!!!

As you can tell this is a very simple recipe, taste so good and they look so cute.

I would love to know if anyone makes this recipe.

Please comment and follow.

My High End Lipstick Collection

I love collecting high end lipsticks, but I love that I have a certain event/meaning behind them. For example I got my first Charlotte Tilbury lipstick as a gift after completing my GCSEs or YSL Lipstick I got with my friends on the way to Iceland.

I own 4 MAC Lipsticks which are Velvet Teddy, Brave, Patisserie and MACxFleurDeForce. I love all of them - they are gorgeous shades and great for everyday. My first high end lipsticks I ever brought was the MAC classic Velvet Teddy, when I was doing GCSEs 2 years ago. I love the brown tones of the lipstick and the long wearing of it.  Brave is a gorgeous pink lipstick - lovely for everyday. And the satin finish formulation is long wearing but not drying. Patisserie is a nude lipstick, great when you have a smokey brown eye or a natural makeup day. And Fleur de Force has been one of my favourite youtube for a while and I was lucky enough to meet in 2014 so when she announced she was bringing out a Mac lipstick of course I had to get it!

My one and only high end liquid lipstick is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid lipstick is Crush. I picked this up on a holiday is Canada in the Sephora store - I had heard great things about the ABH liquid lipsticks and ‘Crush’ is a gorgeous pink. Personally I quite like the formulation of the their liquid lipsticks, they are slightly drying but comfortable.

I do rave about Charlotte Tilbury makeup on my blog - I do love their products and packaging. And even though they are expensive I think they are worth the price. I own 2 CT lipsticks - Kidmans Kiss and English Beauty. Both gorgeous pink lipsticks (as you can probably already tell I wear I lot of pink lipstick ;)) - Kidmans Kiss is more of a rosy pink and English Beauty is more of a nude browny pink. They are both part of Charlotte’s Matte Revolution range - but even though they are matte they still add moisture to your lips and don’t drying at all. The formulation is also long wearing.

Another brand which has beautiful packaging is YSL - I own one of their gorgeous lipsticks the Rouge Volupte in 047. This is everyday ‘yours lipsticks but better’ sort of shade and the formulation is really nice, moisturising and balmy but still has pigmentation. The gold packaging also looks lovely on your makeup top which an added bonus.

My final high lipstick is a mini Lancome lipstick which was my first ever high lipstick which I got in one of Lancome’s Christmas sets as a present from my Aunt and Uncle for Christmas. To be honest its probably my least wore out of them all but its a gorgeous shade with read undertones but still quite a nice lipstick.

I hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite high end lipsticks as I would love to expand my collection.

Hope you have a lovely day, and it would mean the world if you followed me on Bloglovin and my other social medias.

Quick 5 Minute Makeup Look

There is also a day where I'm running late and need a quick makeup look. To make me look more awake, cover any blemishes and makes me look more presentable. This makeup look is also my go to if I'm having a no-makeup makeup day or if I just going to the corner shop.

I always start my makeup routine with my brows so I use my trusty Tanya Burr Brow Palette. I mix together the Pebble shade and Hot Cocoa (the 2 that has hit pan) and use the angled brush to apply the product. As I'm so used to using this product ut literally takes me 20 seconds to do my brows.

To cover all my imperfections and redness I use Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation, apply it will a Real Techniques brush and buff it into my skin. Then use my complexion sponge to make sure everything is blended in properly. I find this way is the quickest but most effective. To set my face I use the  Rimmel Insta Fix and Matte Powder and sweep a tiny bit on my T zone and cheeks.

One of my favourite steps - bronzer and contour. I use my fave Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer to bronze my cheeks, forehand, chin and down the neck. It adds shape back into my face and colour. I also always add a touch of highlighter I use Seventeen Shimmer Brick in 'Pink Bronze' on my cheekbones, inner corner and brow bone.  I also use the shimmer brick as a lid colour with Hoola Lite in the crease to create a very simple and easy eye look.

Then you finish off the look and literally when I'm running out the door I apply Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara as it adds length and volume really quickly and lasts all day.

I think Quick Makeup Look also show peoples favourite products so please comment your go-to makeup products for a quick look.

Hope you have a lovely  day!

Pink Beauty Favourites

Pink is one of my favourite colours so I do have a lot of pink makeup whether that's eyeshadow, blush or lipsticks, especially in spring and summer. So I wanted to share some of my favourite pink makeup items:

One of my favourite drugstore lipsticks is the L’Oreal JLO Nude Lipstick, I have mentioned this lipstick quite a few times on my blog. I love the pink nude colour, the formulation and the longevity of the lipstick. This is probably one of the most for lipsticks in my collection which shows how much I love it! For me it’s slightly pinker version of your lips but better.

I do love a Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks - for a start the packaging but the formulation and pigmentation are gorgeous. I love the rosy pink tones of Charlotte Tilbury Kidman's Kiss Lipstick - it's much more of a brighter pink which is gorgeous in the summer. A gold/brown eye and this lipstick is my go to during the summer months. As its one of Charlotte’s Matte Revolution lipsticks is long wearing and it doesn’t transfer that much throughout the day.

A cream eyeshadow are also quick and easy to use in the morning especially when I'm in a rush . And my go to is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Rose Gold - the shade is gorgeous (its a very me colour - pink/rose/gold with some shimmer). I love this on the lid with some of my bronzer in the crease.

Everyone loves a bit of glitter now and then - one of my favourites is the MAC Pigment in Whisper Pink. It’s beautiful light pink pigment with flexes of glitter in it. Its creates a binging highlighter or I like it on the lid with a smokey crease.

I’m not the biggest fan of blush mainly because my skin is pink undertones and I have naturally pink cheeks. So I don’t want a blush which is going to make my cheeks the colour I’m trying to cover up with foundation. But I love the Lancome Subtil Blush as it.s a very delicate pink with some shimmer. So one the days I fill like my makeup is missing something or I’m not feeling too good, I apply this to the apples of my cheeks to add some colour back to my cheeks.

One of my go-to palettes in the summer months is the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Palette in My Paradise . A gorgeous array of rose golds and pinky shades, great for summer. AAs the palette is cute compact great for your travel makeup bag or your everyday makeup bag.

I hope you like this post and please comment your favourite pink makeup item.

Soap and Glory ''Lip Lip Hooray''

I love Soap and Glory - it's one of my favourite drugstore brands as it has a range of amazing body and makeup products. I was lucky to receive this over the festive period, but only recently been able to try them and test them.

The packaging that the 3 minis came in is a gorgeous star tin that could have been a tree decoration or a nice tin for other products.

Lip Lip Hooray consists of three different Sexy Mother pucker mini lip gloss sticks in three different and wonderful colours:
Nudist ( beige nude with brown undertone gloss)
Pink-A-Boo ( a natural rosy pink gloss)
Choccoberry ( Matte red with brown undertones)

These were the first 3 Sexy Mother pucker minis I've tried and I really like them. The formulation of the glossy sticks are really nice and moisturising the formulation isn't particularly long wearing but not many glosses are. I also love the formulation of the matte lip - but drying and moisturising.

Pink - a - Boo is the most me shade and the one I reach most to especially to throw in my handbag and I can tell I will wear a lot in the spring months. I don't usually wear a red lip as I'm so scared to. But Choccoberry is really nice and great for people who are usually too scared to wear a bright lip.

Even though these are part of a limited edition mini set they still sell the full sized at Boots which is great. So when these minis run out I can go and pick one up. But the minis are really good for your handbag or in a makeup bag.

I hope you like this post.

Please follow and comment your favourite Soap and Glory product.

My Top 5 Products From Tanya Burr Cosmetics

Tanya Burr Cosmetics is one of my favourite makeup brands and when I mention Tanya Burr's products in other posts people have commented that they would love to try her products. So I thought I would share my 5 favourite products from Tanya Burr Cosmetics. And I hope this helps anyone who wants to try the brand but doesn't know which products to try first.

 Face Illuminator in 'Forever Summer'

This face illuminator is a gorgeous pearly pink cream highlighter which is really easy to blend on to your cheekbones. The formulation is really creamy and long-wearing. The pigmentation is really good too - you apply a bit for an everyday glow or apply a bit more for a more dramatic highlighter. Personally, I apply this product with my ring finger as I find that's the easiest for cream highlighters.

Selfie Flick Eye Liner

I mentioned this quite a few times on my blog recently but OMG I love this eyeliner so much! The formulation is so pigmented - it's a proper intense black, which is perfect for winged eyeliner which I wear most days. The brush is so easy to use to create accurate wings as well as a thin line on the lash line. The formulation is also lovely and long wearing and doesn't smudge which is perfect for every day.

Pink Cocoa Lipstick

This is probably one of my most worn lipsticks - this is gorgeous for every day. It's a pinky brown nude which is great for every day and for every season. The formula of the lipstick itself is stunning, it has a super creamy texture which is enriched with Vitamin E and a satin finish which feels so lightweight and nourishing on the lips.

Perfect Brow Palette

As you can probably see this brow palette has been well used and I've hit on 2 of the 4 shades. This palette I use every day by mixing 'Pebble' and 'Hot Cocoa' and I use the brush in the palette too as its actually quite good for a palette brush. I also really like this as eyeshadows as crease shades or the light one has a base to set your eye base. As they are pigmented but also blend nicely.

'Lunch Date' Lip Gloss

This is something I'm more likely to wear in summer but I love the formulation and pigmentation of the lipgloss. My personal favourite is Lunch Date it's a gorgeous nude lip gloss perfect for every day as well as lip toppers. To make your lipsticks are nude or more glossy.

I hope you like this post.

Please comment if you have tried Tanya Burr products if you have whats your favourite products.

What Makeup And Beauty Means To Me

I have loved makeup and beauty for quite a while - one of the main reasons I started my blog was to find similar minded people who love makeup and beauty.

I have never been the most confident of people - always the shy one fo the group and don’t particularly like taking photos of myself. But makeup for me is something that gives me a confidence as well as showing my creative. As I cant draw or paint that well but after a lot go practice I can do winged eyeliner and create a range of eye makeup looks.

One story I remember on a school ski trip we had a 27-hour coach journey and I took my makeup off when all the lights are out on the coach so no one could see that I took my makeup off. As soon I finished taking my makeup off we stopped at a service station - I was so self-conscious walking around a service station with no makeup. I know it sounds sad but hardly any of my friends have seen me without makeup and they could be every imperfection I cover up. I have to far come a long way since then - I do have days wear a wear much less makeup than I did and still feel confident.

Makeup and Beauty is also an escape for me - I love watching Youtube makeup tutorial or any beauty video, PatrickStarrr and NIkkieTutorials are 2 of my fave makeup youtubers. Whenever I’m having a bad day I watch one of these videos and it makes me feel much better as I’m concentrating what’s on the video and not what happened during the day. Same as int he evenings I sully look through websites like  Beauty Bay or Debenhams Beauty to see if there are any new products that I may want to any other products I can read reviews on before buying it.  Looking, watching and reading about makeup and beauty products is something I enjoy doing and I personally find quite relaxing. As you don’t like looking at a pretty palette (like the new ABH one - gorgeous) or a gorgeous lipstick (the new Dior ones :0)

So overall makeup and beauty is something that gives me confidence but also I enjoy and find relaxing.

It would be amazing if you could comment ‘What Makeup and Beauty Means to Me’ as I would to hear what your thoughts are.

I hope you like this post and have a lovely day.

5 Women Bosses That Inspires Me

As yesterday was International Women's Day, I wanted to share 5 women bosses who inspire and motivate me on a regular basis. These ladies keep me inspired to spread the love (which honestly the world really need right now) and keep me excited to support each other.

#1 Charlotte Tilbury

I have raved about Charlotte Tilbury products on my blog - they are so good. The quality and formulation are amazing as well as the packaging. But Charlotte herself is an inspiring person - firstly for setting up Charlotte Tilbury brand only in 2013 but her brand has grown massively. She is also a makeup artist to many celebrities including Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss as well as having a youtube channel which has amazing makeup tutorials.

#2 Victoria McGarth (InTheFrow)

Victoria is one of my favourite bloggers and YouTubers, gorgeous photos and outfits. She seems a lovely person and her new bag collab looks stunning!

#3 Tanya Burr

Tanya Burr inspired me with her positivity and her involvement in charities eg One and the UN Global Goals. And her makeup brand and books are some of my faves especially her baking one.

#4 Emma Watson

Emma Watson is such an inspiring lady from being Hermoine in Harry Potter to a UN speaker and a patron for the Times Up campaign.

#5 Zoe Sugg

Zoe has inspired for the last 4 years mainly the fact that a lot of negativity as said about her due to her success but she always seems a positive person. Also, her vlogs are my favourite things to watch especially in the background whilst doing in work.
These are just 5 of the many hugely successful people dominating right now but please comment who inspires you as I would love to discover some more people to add to my list of Girl Bosses!

I hope you like this post. And I hope you have a great day!

Body Shop British Rose Face Mask and Toner

Body Shop is a gorgeous shop and I love the values of the brand. I also love Body Shop's body products - shower gels and creams. But I have never tried their skincare, I was lucky enough to receive a voucher for Christmas for Body Shop. And I thought I would spend it on some of their skincare as I love improving my skincare at the moment. So I picked up the British Rose Hydrating and Plumping Perfect Partners set which includes the Fresh Plumping Mask and the Petal Soft Toner.

For a start, the packaging of both products are gorgeous and feels so luxe. Especially the face mask feels very luxe as the previous one I've own is the cheap ones from the drugstore in squeeze tubes or in glass/plastic jar.

British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask

I really like this mask as its 100% vegan as well as been refreshing due to it being a gel face mask. I have never tried a gel mask before and it was slightly odd a first to be honest but its so nice on the skin. It's also infused with real rose petals, rose essence, rose hip oil and organic Community Trade aloe vera.
I usually use it once or twice a week and my skin feels moisturised and smoother,

British Rose Petal Soft Gel Toner

As I've mentioned previously on my blog I've been trying to improve my skincare routine. One thing I was missing was a nice toner, as I've always been quite wary that it may break me up and react with my sensitive skin. But so far so good for this toner, my skin feels really soft and moisturised after using it. And I love the fact it's enriched with real rose petals and aloe vera.

Overall I'm really pleased with these Body Shops products - they are really good quality and affordable. I'm definitely going to try more Body Shop skincare in the future.

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite Body Shop product and it would amazing if you could follow me on Bloglovin :)

Hope you have a lovely day.
