June Favourites 2016

Hi chappes,

I can't believe it's already the end of June so its time for my June Favourites. 

Makeup Favourites

Naked Palette - this palette is so pigmented and i have loved it this month for doing golden smokey eyes or champagney pinky eyes

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil - I recently got this in the Elle magazine and i love it. Its probably the best brow product i have ever used

Benefit Roller Lash - i bought this mascara for occasions and i wore to prom and its UH-MAZ-ING!!! It curls your lashes really well as well as adding length.

Mac Velvet Teddy - this is my first and only Mac lipstick and i love it !!!

Other Favourites 

Garnier Makeup Wipes - these are great for taking your makeup of when i can't be bothered to do a skincare routine. Which is especially for this month with revising till late for GCSES.

Adele Biography - if you are a regular reader of my blog you would know i love Adele. So when i saw this book i bought it and its great to read in between revising. 

Dangerous Women by Ariana Grande - I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!! I have been playing it on repeat for literally the last month.

iRing - you can't see it on the photo as its on my phone which is showing the Ariana song. But i saw it on Lily Pebbles video and its great for holding your phone or standing your phone up.

Megsays - I been loving Megs youtube channel and blog this month. I would highly recommend this channel.

What's In My Clutch Bag

Hi chappes,

As its occasion and summer party time i wanted to share what i put in my clutch bag. As you don't want to be carrying lots and have a bulky clutch so i think its important to keep it to the minimum. 

In my clutch bag i have:

Extra gum/Mints- no one wants smelly breath when meant people. As well there is also lots of food at events so best to be prepared.

Makeup- lipstick, mini mascara and concealer to use for any touch ups during the day. So you don't have a patchy, panda eye face in the photos 😂

Nail Glue- just incase any of my false nails fall off which ca happened quite a lot recently please leave any tips on false nails in the comments.

Phone- for contact people or take photos to keep memories.

Literally this is all i can fit in the clutch bag and i think its the bare necessaries that you need :)

My New Makeup Storage Summer 2016

I have already written a post on my makeup storage and collection but recently i have purchased these drawers. So i wanted to share my new makeup storage but my makeup collection hasn't really changed much.

There are 9 drawers - in them i have:

Moisturizers and primers

Foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer,brush

Tanya Burr lip glosses

Lipsticks

Other lip glosses

Lip balm, lip crayon and liquid lipsticks

Mascara and eyeliners

Brow products and individual eyeshadows

Palettes and un open products 

On top i have my makeup wipes for when i can't can't be bothered to do my skincare routine which seem to be quite frequent recently. As week as my Tanya Burr Candy Glam Palette as it doesn't fit in the drawers. 

I love my new storage and it is so much more organised then before. I hope you like it too.

My Top 4 Music Groups

Hi chappes,

As I have already written my post about my favourite female and male singers. So i wanted to share my favourite groups.

1. One Direction- I love all their music and its great songs to sing along with. I looking forward to see what each of them do in their separate careers. My favourite songs of theres are Best Song Ever, Drag Me Down and Little Things

2. Little Mix - MY FAVOURITE BAND EVER!!!! I have loved them since they were on X Factor but unfortunately i have never seen them in  concert but hopefully on their next tour. My favourite songs of theres are probably: My Secret Love Song, Black Magic and Move

3. The Vamps- I remember about 2 years my friend raved about this band after they supported McFly on tour and she has loved them ever since. But then i listened to them and they are so good my favourite song is Can We Dance. 

4. The Saturdays- this was the first group that i remember loving and i think there Cd "Headlines" was the first album i ever purchased in 2010. I used to watch there TV backstage show which was amazing and i have to admit i was quite sad when they split.

5 Product Summer Makeup Look 2016

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write a 5 product summer makeup look as sometimes in summer i just want a small amount of makeup like when I'm at the pool or staying in the hotel. Technically this makeup can be used all year round but i only wear this at summertime. 

So the products are:

Rimmel Fix and Protect Primer 

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

Miss Sporty Waterproof Eyeliner

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

The primer has SPF so it perfect for summer so I wouldn't get a red face. 

The concealer has great coverage so you can use it as a imperfection, correcting under eye circles and for me covering my red cheeks. You can also covering discolouration on your lids so can  be used as a eyeshadow.

To prevent any shine in the summer i set my makeup in place with the stay matte powder.

I love wearing a winged eyeliner as i feel like my eyes look weird without it. So i had to add my miss sporty eyeliner to the 5 products.

Finally to finish the look i use Maybelline lash sensational mascara which is definitely my favourite mascara. And made you look more wake.

Dress and Accessories

My dress was Little Mistress Women's Embellished Empire Maxi Sleeveless Dress which you can buy from Amazon . I tried on many dresses but this fits really nicely and you can wear it all year around.

My shoes navy heels were from New Look. It was actually really hard to find shoes as i have size 8 feet and they are wide and i didn't want to be too tall as I'm 5ft 9 already. But these are the perfect size.

And my clutch was a Kurt Geiger "Carvela Silver Deonne clutch bag" which i actually got the morning of prom ;) The clutch is really cute however the clasp was quite hard to open.

I had a really nice time with my friends last night at prom and if any of you are reading these i wish you the best for the future and hopefully i will see you soon.  X

This product is soo good- i would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a new brow product. Unfortunately due to it being in a magazine it had it 2 colours 2 and 6 i picked up 6 but it is quite dark. Put if you use it lightly its fine  and its UH-MAZ-ING that it colours and shapes your brow at the same time.

The packaging is so nice and i love that all of the brow products have similar packaging. And i can't wait to try the rest of the range which comes out on the 24th of June.

Would You Rather? Beauty Tag

Hi chappes,

I saw Classically Becca did this tag and I really liked it so i wanted to write a similar post using the same questions.

Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

Messy Hair and nice makeup as my hair is quite messy anyway due to being quite frizzy. As well as you can tie messy hair up

Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

May sound weird but probably shave my eyebrows as I have got a fringe as you can't see my eyebrows anyway. And you can draw your eyebrows on. 

Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

Probably Sephora as it has a range of brands

Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?

Lipgloss/lipliner look as my hair is already massive. 

Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

Well in the past i went with a obvious foundation line so that one. I actually went to school with this which was soo embarrassing. But gladly my foundation is the right colour now.

Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

Biker shorts as if i put on a gym top it looks like I've been at the gym.

Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?

Really weird tan lines as I don't want to look like a oompa loompa.

Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?

I don't know! Probably hair colour as it can wash out easily. I have had a bad hair cut in the past and I don't want it again. ;) 

Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

Preferably neither but probably twitter. As i love watching Zoella, Tanya Burr and other Youtubers . And Instragram and Snapchat are quite similar to Twitter.

Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

Makeup brushes- as you can use your hands to apply foundation, concealer and eyeshadows. I literally could not give up mascara.

In todays post i wanted to write about the straighteners i use when i want to straight my hair. I have quite frizzy, big  and curly hair so it takes quite awhile to straighten. But i love it when i do straighten my hair.

Argos claims 'The Nicky Clarke Frizz Control hair straightener is perfect for creative styling, with maximum control and minimum frizz.' I totally agree- i love these straightens apart from the colour. And its only £27- bargain. The straighteners reaches a high temperature of 230°C and features a variable heat dial with six settings meaning it perfect for every hair style  

I would recommend this to anyone if you want a cheap pair of straighteners.

Benefit Porefessional Primer

Hi chappes,

I wanted to write a review on one of my favourite primers, Benefit Porefeesional. This was actually my first high end product i actually bought-I'm not sure why but it's an amazing product.

I love this product underneath my foundation and it gives a flawless finish. This primer helps my makeup stay on all day so perfect for events or for photos. It minimised the appearance of pores & fine lines for smooth! Benefit claims "The translucent formula contains a vitamin E derivative known to protect skin from free radicals." I totally agree.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high end primer.
